I hate having to post bad reviews but this is by far the worst haircut I ever had. My hair ended up being much longer in some area and shorter in others…

Reasonable rates. Professional service.
Been here a few times and I will continue to come back. Wait time is not bad at all… I keep Nick and Yo on speed dial and they have both made themselves available for «emergency» haircuts.
I have brought my son there too… he’s mixed with «that fine hair» and he is extremely picky. We have yet to be disappointed.

Best barber shop in Santa Cruz. Yonnie listens to what you ask for and also likes giving helpful suggestions. He’s very friendly and can talk to you about anything. If you love sports, I would especially recommend going here. He’s always watching football, espn, soccer or baseball and enjoys talking about it. It’s open anytime Montgomery’s is open while also being open on Sunday. The one nitpick I have on this place is the price being a little high at $ 20 but it’s still a great place to go. I’d definitely recommend going here.

Got a great cut after not wanting to wait Montgomery’s. Was really happy with it. I have hair that grows straight out like an Afro but I’m white. It makes it hard to maintain and look good. The guy at miracle workers knew exactly what to do with it. Will definitely be coming back.
been here 2 times now, and each time i’ve loved the cut i got. I got both guys too, so both their barbers are good.
they have a big TV too, so when your getting your hair cut you can watch the game or whatever. Really like the place, but more importantly i like the cuts I’ve gotten, and both the barbers are real good guys.

I stopped in here because I needed a cut bad, and my regular Barber (Montgomery’s) was closed. Turns out Yonnie, the guy that cut my hair went to Barber school with Ramona who cuts over Montgomery’s. The proof was in the cut, it was neat, precise and exactly what I wanted. The shop is a tiny hole in the wall place, but usually you go to a Barber Shop for the quality of the the haircut, and not much else. Glad to have found a quality shop on par with Montgomery’s should they ever be closed when I need a cut.

Hands down best spot in SC to get a fade haircut. Nic was very precise and did a great job getting me lined up nice. Will come here for all my cuts no doubt!

The miracle worker– also known as ‘the black barber’ is just that– a miracle! theyre the only people in town that cut black hair RIGHT. First place to ever cut my hair… In 1991 — right after I cut my dreads off when I was a little kid. The shop has since relocated twice to the midtown location. It is locally/​family owned, and Nick def inherited his skills from pops. It is a small shop, but I don’t think it needs to be any bigger. And like others say – you feel like fam when u go in here & it’s non-​stop laughs. Defiantly would recommend to any of my homies. You can do «walk-​ins» if your not pressed for time, it’s a classic shop to hang around, but if you’re in a hurry, I suggest you call ahead and schedule a time.

Took my son here for his first hair cut. He’s three and his hair was down to his shoulders. This could have been a traumatic experience, but, Louis made him feel comfortable and gave him a great looking «faux hawk»!! I really appreciated Louis’ skill and friendliness. My son said he «want (s) to go back tomorrow for another haircut».

Went there twice so far and the first barber was okay but didn’t finish lining me up. The second time, another barber, and it was nice. The shop is small only 2 chairs and it is packed full of stuff. Need to make it a little more comfortable for the customers.
