How disappointing. There’s a line out the door and only 1 Batista and 1 cashier. There are 3 other workers totally ignoring us. It’s terrible. If I was not relying in my Gift Card to buy coffee today I’d have been out of here! It took my nearly 20 mins to get my coffee…

Typical Starbucks location filled with students or tourists. Lines can get long and drinks take a while to come out. The only closest Starbucks close enough to campus besides the one at Safeway. Depending on who makes the drinks can either be a hit or miss. Not consistent sometimes. Bathroom is accessible via a code and parking may be difficult since it’s downtown.

Horrible customer service. Refuse to give you bathroom code until AFTER purchase in a long line. Worst Starbucks store ever.

I came here on 8÷14÷15 around 7pm. The young man with the glasses is the RUDEST barista I’ve ever had. ZERO customer service skills. I was clearly speaking to my friend who was sitting near the pickup station asking what kind of drink she wanted and he must have grown impatient with her not making a decision because he yelled, «You’re supposed to order over here.» So I attempted to rush her since he was rushing me(even though no one was in line) and I went to the register to order. He wasn’t friendly at all, just did the minimum of his job and took my order. Also attempted to charge me for agave which I have never been charged for. I don’t care how bad you need starbucks GOSOMEWHEREELSEDONOTGOTOTHISSTARBUCKS

This review is based solely on the atmosphere and design of this Starbucks. It’s the cutest one I’ve ever gone too! The outside is adorable(:

Really hard working staff here. They do a good job with an overwhelming amount of tourists on the weekends and during the summer months. There can be a large line and a long wait –occasionally– but in the hundreds of times I’ve been to this Starbucks I’ve always gotten a good drink.

I don’t really go out for coffee that often but when I have and I’ve gone to this Starbucks location everyone has always been polite & friendly. I don’t have anything negative to say.

Four Stars: — Great customer service :) –Wifi –Closes at 10pm(great for studying) — Good quality drinks –plug-in wall adapters Cons: — Its way too cold in there. Its like they purposely set the ac so customers can purchase more warm beverages. I practically wear two hoodies and leggings and I’m still get cold. — If you are a college student like myself you may want to go a time where their not a lot of buzz going around. It sometimes gets too crowded to a point where you can’t find seats or it becomes too loud. If you’re looking for a great quiet time to study it would be anytime between 6−10pm. from what I’m aware of. avoid rush hours

Tough to find a spot inside as the one –cup-customers stage a day of it here as most other local cafes due to the sheer number of homeless.

This Starbucks is cool. Its outside has a look that sets it apart and I love the front door. Great service and I swear they do something different here my drinks come out better than at any other Starbucks. Giant kudos to this team!

Out of the 100’s(literally) of Starbucks that I’ve experienced, this has to be on the bottom 5 of my list to go to. I’m so disappointed with Starbucks for dropping the ball on this place. Not only is it so damn dark in there that you can’t really see much. The sunlight shining down didn’t help much. Didn’t see the modern lighting or the cool seating. It’s sorta like Starbucks forgot about this place in their remodeling budget. I didn’t see the wifi network show up on my phone. Several refreshes didn’t help either. Maybe the internet was out that day? I’m not sure. I saw a couple people on laptops with the ample power outlets available. Baristas were not the friendliest; chatting amongst themselves about where they’re from and what they’re doing this weekend. Spending a lot of time with their chit chat was causing this place to be over crowded. Everybody and their mom was waiting for their order. Some guy I don’t know sat down at my table without even asking me because it was so crowded and was taking an exorbitantly long time to get their drinks. I felt bad for him and didn’t make a big stink about it. Will was fighting his way to the bathroom. Waited in line for 20 minutes and nobody came out of the mens restroom. Another guy and a female both told Will he should just go in the womens since someone has pitched a tent in the mens restroom. I was happy to get out of there. Never again in this place. Ugh.

Coming out of the mountains, this was my go-to place to get wi-fi any time I was in Santa Cruz. It’s your standard Starbucks, but with plenty of seating. I could do with a little bit more outlets, but since most of their seating is outside, I can understand why there’s not. Overall, it’s a great place to stop for a drink, especially if you want to sit on the patio!

As wonderful as other Starbucks I’ve been to. Located in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz. The remodeled patio also looks great! Let’s be honest, if you want a great cup of coffee there are definitely a couple better places to go than Starbucks. However, every time I go in here the baristas are always nice and friendly and have a smile behind a tasty cup of coffee! :D(as cheesy as that sounds) Sometimes the baristas at Pergolesis scare me… The only issue is, as a college student, I cannot usually find a table with an outlet for my laptop. Oh well. TIP: 50 Cent refills on coffee and tea(not lemonade) if you use the same cup. Free for Gold members :) Cheers!

This Starbucks is located in Downtown Santa Cruz on Pacific between Walnut and Church. Most notable things about this place: — crowd: typical Santa Cruz-mix of(beach) bums, one or two students, tourists, and beach boys/girls — restroom is locked via code — line is usually long Drinks came quickly and baristas were friendly.

Happy Hour! Half off frappuccinos from 3PM– 5PM. Deal started on May 1 and will end on May 10. Based on the sales trend, the slowest in profiting is at 3PM. I know this because I used to work at Starbucks. Creating this special will result of a spike in business. My kids and I were at the Starbucks location located inside Valley Fair Mall in San Jose. The line wasn’t long however, the guy gave me a grande instead of a venti. I didn’t make a big deal, still went on my merry way. I got the mocha cookie crumble frappuccino for my kids. They both seemed to enjoy it very much. I took a sip. It was creamy and decadent but I am glad I reserved my calories for solid food. Today we took a walk to downtown from the Main Beach. The line was ridiculously long. I was behind 10+ people. Everyone ordered the special and a few odd balls ordered a hot drink. Though the line seemed to never end, the drink orders were piling but that never stressed the staff of this Starbucks. They were all very welcoming and upbeat. Hats off to the shift today during happy hour. My daughter wanted the same drink. What I observed and admire was the girl that finished the drink and called it out. She did not rush and I noticed the 2 iced caramel macchiatos that she did before my daughter’s drink. the milk stopped at the right line and pulled out the straws for each ice drink.

Just went there 3 minutes ago. The posted hours say, «Open Until 11pm». As we stood outside in the rain and called for one house coffee, we were told that the hours vary from night to night. When we pointed out that they advertised ’til 11′, he replied with, «Yeah. it happens some times». I’m sorry. What? This is why you only have an average rating of 3 stars. Let’s get it down to 2 — the amount you SHOULD have. Oh look. I finished this review before 11! Could be gettin’ me a coffee!

To be quiet honest, has to be one of the most friendly places to stop and use the restroom. Friendly staff & a premium location downtown. Depending upon the day, you could be stuck at the back of the line but it’s nice that they already have I’ve cold water ready.(if that’s what you came for) And since this place is newly remodeled, it makes the ambiance in and on the patio a nice stop to just hang out.

I’ve heard mixed opinions how the baristas make their drinks here. One of my friends had a bad experience here because of how their iced coffee tasted here at one point. Lately I’ve been coming here for study dates with one of my friends, and I really like how they remodeled the front of the store with an outdoor patio! It’s really cute and a creative idea, since they have so much space in the front. Also, indoor seating is pretty limited, so if you’re lucky you don’t have to be out in the cold. I have been ordering the usual holiday drinks and they have been pretty standard. I stayed right when it was about to close on a Sunday evening and the barista gave away some free La Boulange treats to whoever was still lounging around. My friend and I got to share a free oatmeal cookie. How nice!
