Had to add the 1 star by default, but should be a minus. O’Deli At the Colonnade, 10012 Norwalk Blvd., had its health permit suspended on March 8 for a cockroach infestation, according to a report from the Los Angeles County Public Health Department. The restaurant received a B(84) health grade during the inspection. It reopened two days later. — Whittier Daily News 3÷17÷16

I only get a 30 min break and I am 2 doors down from o deli, and both times I’ve ordered I’ve never received my order on time. So I starved! Don’t come if you don’t have time to sit and wait.

1. The prices changed and I had an old menu. And it wasn’t a small increase some were up to as much as a $ 1 increase. 2.The chicken tortilla soup was more of a vegetable soup with Fritos as the tortillas. But my boss never did find the«tortillas». 3. I had the chicken rice soup. It had more carrots than chicken. 4. Our half sandwiches were such a disappointment 2 slices of Turkey on 1 slice of bread cut in half. The pastrami same thing But they were going to charge me $ 1 for a hot half sandwich, which was not HOT only toasted bread cold meat. When I walked in there were people eating their lunches which looked good and big portions(salads). The employees bickered in front of me about not charging the extra $ 1. This place was recommended to us, I don’t think I would ever Recommend it. I asked my boss if we should give it any stars he said yeah 1 for the effort. 5. I just received word from our 3rd soup orderer again the chicken tortilla, to her it was in eatable. She said it tasted gooey.

…ordered the bacon avocado tomato sandwich… wheat bread was warm, not toasted. Price with large drink pushing close to $ 10 with tip… subway could be better I think but I just wanted something close within walking distance of my parts store will-call dock. Not a bad place… courteous friendly staff

I stopped by for lunch because a co-worker made a suggestion on this local eatery. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to others after coming in for a take out order. They need to work on the cleanliness and presentation of the business. It is a disorganized mess behind the counter for all to see. I ordered Yakisoba noodles with the salad, it was okay. The bottled Pepsi tasted old. The ladies behind the counter seemed friendly and the food was finished fairly quickly.

I would like to say. If haven’t been to O’deli’s. You must have lunch there. It is my second time there and the sandwich was excellent. Today I had a special called Bi Bim Bop, OMG the soup and main dish was Fantastic and I mean Fantastic. The staff is very friendly. I will be back to try more of the delious sandwhichs and lunch plates.

Stopped in to get lunch on a Saturday and will not be coming back. The place smelled strongly like a scented room freshener or pine cleaner. The white metal backs of the chairs in the eating area have so much grime on them, they are now grey. A bottle of 409 and a cleaning rag would help!

This place hasn’t been reviewed in a while. It’s a really good sandwich shop. Friendly staff, great sandwiches(especially the bread) and it’s located near by my work. Perfect distance for a little exercise when sitting behind a desk all day. My co-workers, boyfriend and I have been coming here frequently since Oct 2014

The sandwiches are pretty good and the salads are above average. The soda machine tastes like it needs to be cleaned, all flavors taste off. It’s a bit dirty inside, the chairs and tables are grimy and the floor is streaked. I can live with all that, but it’s the incredible heat that breaks the deal. I’ve been there a few times this summer and it had to be over 90 °F each time. It’s a shame because it could be a 4 star place with a little work. Lastly, the«free» chips thing is a bit weird. It’s like they’re trying to skirt some rule.

Unfortunately I am unable to give them 0 starts because that is definitely what they deserve. I work nearby and needed a bottle of milk for my cereal. I called ahead of time to see if they sold milk. They said yes, but they seemed unsure of what I was asking for and in the background I swear I heard her say to someone«leftover milk.» I walk over there anyways giving them the benefit of the doubt. When I get there I see two bottles of Alta Dena milk in their case. Something tells me to check it before I buy it. I look at the bottle and it is not sealed, the bottom ring that seals the cap is missing and when I open it(with ease) the bottle is half full. The same goes for the other bottle. I was livid and disgusted that they would try to sell me half used open bottles of milk. This place needs to go out of business and make way for something halfway decent. I will NEVER go back there.

In the area for a business meeting. Small Asian deli. A little dirty both in the kitchen, bathrooms, and the floors. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was average only. I asked for salt and pepper but the lady handed my sandwich to me and walked away while I was talking, no worries, I chalk it up to her being older and probably hard of hearing. Was going to order a bottle orange juice but it was brown on the bottom, looked old, and was probably way expired. Parking is abundant in a private lot. If you have to use the bathroom you are asked to exit the deli and walk around behind the shop; weird, kind of like a gas station. No reason to return. Hard enough to find any decent food in Norwalk or Santa Fe Springs(what is up with that?).

Thoroughly average deli walking distance from my work. Sandwiches are decent and inexpensive and would probably merit 3 stars by themselves. The bibimbap is awful. Got ice cream once and it was stale. Service is quick. No reason to come here unless you’re close by.

This little deli is run by a Korean couple. So I thought… hm… let me try the bibimbap(mixed rice with vegetables, other ingredients and Korean hot paste). Worst bibimbap I have ever had. It’s like they put whatever leftover ingredients they have and mix it with a terrible paste. Terrible.

This is a pretty basic deli. Cheap sandwiches, made to order. I’d much rather throw my business this way, than a place like Subway where they try to upsell you on avacado, cookies, double meat, you name it. They are quick and efficient as well. Again, unlike Subway where there’s always a line and the employees are practically(if not literally) yelling at you to try to move the line along, even though it doesn’t work. I’m tired of Subway and their annoying marketing. O’deli and the other independent shops will continue to get my business.

Relatively speaking in comparison to any options available in the surrounding area, this little deli serves it’s purpose. It’s a good spot to pickup a quick sandwich or salad. There is usually a steady line at the counter during lunch time. It’s nothing fancy, but they do bake the sandwich rolls daily and all the ingredients are usually fresh. I have no experience with the breakfast menu or any of the hot meals that are available, but most people I know who have tried the teriyaki bowl give it the a-ok.
