Good food and good service they also sent me discounts which I always use.

Food was great and the service was even better! All the workers were very friendly and didn’t hesitate to give what I asked. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area or craving a beef or chicken rice bowl.

The food was given to me fast but was kind of cold The restaurant was clean but the cashier was not very personable. She didn’t say thank you and she wasn’t that curious.

I hit up flame broiler at least once a week. This one was near a destination I was heading to so I stopped in. I liked the fact that the side of rice came in a regular bowl verses the mini bowls like what they do in my usual spot(pico Rivera). However, I ordered and paid for all white meat and I think they ignored the request. Seemed like some dark meat was included, hence the missing star. The only reason why I care is because I’m a calorie counter! Hahaha

I love Flame Broiler and usually go to the one in DTLA as it’s near my job. I’ve known of this location but this was my first time going in. The food is fresh and made to order — right in front of you. Like their DTLA location, it’s clean and organized. The condiments are well stocked and the prices cannot be beat. What’s lacking here is the service. It’s mediocre, at best. The cashier greeted me with as much enthusiasm as a candy loving kid greets his dentist. She wasn’t rude, but she wasn’t pleasant, either. She could stand to smile and remember how fortunate she is to have a job — that may improve her attitude. The good folks in the kitchen move at a glacial pace. My goodness — they are painfully slow. That said, the food is still tasty and nothing I experienced would prevent me from returning.

Of all the flame broilers I’ve tried, this is by far the best. Their cooks are better. Chicken and beef are bombdigity. Definitely a must try! I would definitely come back for more. Perfect meal after a good workout.

Flame Broiler makes me feel good and healthy… even when that’s not how I really live my life. Everything is made to order and cooked over a flame grill right then and there. You can have chicken or beef or the combo of the two. You can have with or without green onions. You can get white rice or brown rice. You can get a mini bowl or a regular size bowl. Or upgrade to the larger plate and get more stuff. Like steamed veggies or cabbage and the big meals come with an orange and a crisp salad. They have fountain drinks, as well as bottled drinks, like Snapple or water and juices. The pictures you see are good ones, but nothing beats seeing it in person. Plus, you can add as much MAGICSAUCE as you want!!! And, sides of jalapenos, too!!! Soooooo good, it’s BAD(ass)!!!

Great food and price, although I recently turned Vegan I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthier choice — the food here is really good and again, great bang for your buck!

Come here frequently after workout. The chicken is excellent, however I would stay away from the dry beef unless you want to drench it with magic sauce. Their green onion and magic sauce is a must for every bowl. Add brown rice if you’re a health nut. Service is fast, however I’ve never been here during lunch hour.

I come to this flame broiler almost everyday after my workout. It’s right in front of the gym and smells awesome coming out. Location is small but quick. Employees seem nice but sometimes I get the impression they don’t want to talk. This is a great quick healthy meal if you do it right. Brown rice with white meat and veggies and maybe some hot sauce. Don’t over load with magic sauce. Although it is pretty magical. Meats always good. Not the best I have had of course but still good. I certainly will be coming back again. Location always looks clean.

OMG! This place is no joke, super delicious & healthy too. 1st time we try it & we both agree: far better than Yoshinoya. NO: MSG, Skin, Frying or Trans Fat. The don’t steam the nutrients out of the veggies & they have the option of California whole grain brown rice. Their teriyaki sauce is pretty bomb. The only downfall is that there isn’t one close to home. The closest are in Carson, Santa Fe Springs & Whittier(where they serve Kimchi too), but very worth the drive. Since I’ve had it I’ve been craving it again. Two thumbs way up.

1st time… it is located close to my work, set in a weird food court/strip mall next to a Starbucks and Subway. Not very obvious when you drive by. I ordered the chicken and veggie bowl, the order came quick, which is good when you need to get back to work. I like that the dish did not come with a sauce. On the counter there are 2 big jars of sauce. One is sweet and the spicy. I combined the 2 sauces and really enjoyed my meal. The spicy sauce tastes alot like Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, so it immediately became my friend. I will be back.

They don’t make the hardest food to cook in the world… but for what their specialty is, they do it pretty well. I grab food here at my lunch hour and boy does it get busy!!! Usually the line is out the door. With that said, the service never seemed overly rude or poor to me. Because of the crowd, my mindset going into the place is: «Get in, get food, get out.» I don’t eat here because there are usually no seats and you/your purse gets jostled by the line that weaves through the place. I wish they had a better meat: rice ratio. And when you add veggies, the amount of meat disappears, but the rice stays the same. Portion control is not so great here!

I have to say. This isn’t my favorite location. They don’t do the stamp card! Wth! But it’s the same quality as the others. A healthier option of fast food. The mini bowls are under 400 calories and you can get brown instead of white rice. Pretty good for a quick lunch.

I didn’t experience any adverse attitude from the cashier during my visit. I did get a weird vibe but I can’t explain it. I’m assuming it’s because I look like a Health Inspector(which is not my official title, but I’m in that sort of field). I try not to look scary, I really try. While there no excuse for the cashier to act like he did in Robin E.‘s review, the staff during my visit was courteous but not overtly. You could tell that this was just a job to them and that they really did not have any personal stake in serving me. I was treated no differently as if I were at McD’s. This being my first time(and I heard rave reviews about the food from my boyfriend and a co-worker), I ordered the beef bowl and substituted brown rice. I like the fact that they ask if you want green onions on it(the cashier garnishes it before serving). The food was great even without the extra«Magic Sauce» that everyone raves about. I agree it’s flavorful, but my boyfriend’s reaction of disbelief that I didn’t try it with extra«Magic Sauce» was evidence that I have to try it again this time slobbered in the stuff. The vegetables were steamed to perfection(cooked through yet crisp) and the meat was flavorful. The brown rice was cooked just right(not dry and hard). The green onions were a nice touch. I’ll be back but I’ll be looking out for the cashier to see if they wash their hands between handling money and touching the garnish… in a non-scary way, of course.
