Fun tour to take. Good little history of some of the off-​the-​beaten trail. The vehicle is fun, but I was expecting a little more off-​road driving and adventure. It’s a pretty quiet drive. But the icing on the cake is the view from the peak of the drive. Beautiful Santa Fe, gotta love it!!!

This tour company picks up in front of la Fonda hotel and does a 90 minute ride in an open jeep style to look out points. We wanted something that included a hike and by calling in advance booked a hike in the national forest and came back for the next scheduled tour. Fritz took us on a hike by the natural stream and we were able to see natural cactus and flowers and Douglas fir on a shaded path to experience the natural New Mexico.
This is a great find that others are looking for. They just added this modification to add the hike so you need to ask for it specifically to reserve in advance.
