The tapas at La Boca are very good. I highly recommend the grilled artichokes with goat cheese — delicious. When it comes to beverages stick to a nice Spanish wine. We ordered a liter of Sangria and it was by far the worst I have ever drank. It comes to the table looking like pink fruit juice. It tasted like a mixture of grapefruit & orange juice with a little bit of wine. Absolutely awful. The service was excellent. Good place for a quiet dinner or lunch near the plaza.

Nice place. Overall, everything is ok. Only, the paella was not as good as I thought.

This is a wonderful tapas restaurant in the heart of Santa Fe. Everything I’ve ever ordered here has been delicious. Fried potatoes with a great aioli, shrimp, chicken. It’s all here. The wait staff is very professional, and the selections of wine, sherry and beer are outstanding.

Best meal in Santa Fe. After 3 days of eating traditional southwestern fare, I decided to check out La Boca on the recommendation of my hotel. I went for happy hour(3 — 5pm) and was surprised at the great selection of reasonably priced options on the menu. High point: The Blood Orange Sangria. I had 3. It is dangerously tasty. I also had the Shrimp/blood sausage tacos(wow!), mushroom bruschetta(decadent) and Kale Caesar(fresh and flavorful). If you’re in Santa Fe, don’t pass this place up!

Still one of my all time favorite little spots in Santa Fe. The bruschetta is to die for with an excellent Sherry list. Early Happy Hour couldn’t make me any Happier!

They have a solidly delicious $ 10 soup, salad and half sandwich deal for lunch. And an even more delicious prix-fixe three-course menu for lunch. This is starting to be one of my favorite little spots in Santa Fe… I come early to avoid the crowd and have a glass of Cava. They also did a great job on their acoustical ceiling panels which are nearly invisible but effective. a great place to meet friends for lunch!

Everything was delicious except the paella. We had multiple tapas and they were all delicious, especially the Tres Chorizo and the Mushroom/Bruchetta dish. Skip the paella. It tasted like it was warmed up from frozen. Usually paella takes at least 30 – 45 mins to make… ours came out in 5 and tasted like it. I assume they have a large vat in the back they spoon into a bowl.

*4.5 Stars* Having been to Spain this place reminded me of the wonderful tapas places in Madrid and Barcelona. The food is incredibly good here. Locally sourced and fresh, I was pleasantly surprised to have found this place. The restaurant was packed and owner made a point to check on me to see how everything was. Also the blood orange Sangria is amazing!

A nice tiny place, and I got the squill ink pasta, it was good! I always love to try squill ink pasta whenever it’s possible. Great taste! The pasta was a little bit over cooked, I think, but the taste was a little spicy, just a little, which was great!!! But it’s a small portion I would say, I love it!!! But just this pasta maybe not enough for an adult as a meal…

Just ate dinner here for my mom’s birthday. Oh my goodness, I think I might explode. The food was excellent, and The service was also on point. To begin with, my dad had celiac disease, so that makes eating out somewhat challenging. The waiter was very helpful and informative about what dishes he could and couldn’t eat. We were basically able to get everything on the menu. Meal highlights was definitely the specials grass fed beef with chanterelle mushrooms, mash potatos and peppers. Their artichoke hearts were perfectly cooked. All, of the other food was delicious and the dessert… Nom Nom Nom. We ate it all. Highly recommended.

Delicious food. A really fun place for a date. You can sit and chat for hours because of how they bring the food. Nice wine list. A little pricy but great for a special occasion or night out.

La Boca Feliz was an authentic Santa Fe tapas experience. I called for reservations earlier that day and they were booked… I then called my credit card, Visa Signature to see if they would have any luck and they did, got us right in. Thanks Visa! Once sat we sat for quite a while while servers passed us by. After about 12 minutes we were helped– ordered sangria and a few items. The sangria was good, not great. We would have liked fruit in the sangria, it was just liquid. There was live music and it was a very intimate experience by how close the tables are together. We would definitely return!

We didn’t know what to expect with tapas in Santa Fe, and we are harsh critics, but this was absolute foodie heaven. As a regular patron of José Andres’ Jaleo in DC and Las Vegas, I had extremely high expectations. However, La Boca delivered time and again with each delicious morsel. The creators of this menu were not effing around here, and the chefs in the back clearly give a damn about flavor complexity, texture, and impact. This joint has the feel of an authentic tapas bar — in Spain. As a former Spanish colony, Santa Fe knocked it out of the park with outstanding Spanish cuisine that was well thought out and superbly executed.

Definitely make reservations if you can! We stopped by on a Friday night and the only seating was at the bar. There’s neat artwork on the walls and I really like the vibe of the place it feels like you’re in Spain. They start you off with complimentary bread and olive oil. I really didn’t find anything special about the bread but at least it’s free. The server recommended that we get around 2 tapas a person. We decided to get the paella for one person($ 24) which honestly was enough for 2 people! It comes in a pan with chicken, sausage, mussels, and shrimp. The shrimp was my favorite part — very large and flavorful. We got the quail special(~$ 14) which was fried and served with coconut sauce and shrimp. I thought it was just okay and probably wouldn’t order again. The bruschetta($ 12) was the highlight of the meal! Soo flavorful and you can really taste the truffle oil. The fried egg on top was a perfect combo making the dish so creamy. We were blown away by how amazing the dish was. Definitely recommend this!

Very delicious tapas and waiter was very patient with me.(I requested ice water instead of lukewarm, couldn’t decide what to drink and then just decided I didn’t want anything besides water, contemplated about wanting cheese and had him explain certain cheeses to me and then decided I didn’t want any… Then switched out a tapa choice after he already put in the ticket… All while the restaurant closing time was in 30 minutes… I really do try to be cognizant of time and simplicity, but today I just couldn’t be decisive.) So extra props to the waiter who stayed kind and informative. Food was spectacular. Artichokes were perfectly cooked with a nonoverpowering lemon zest flavor. Brushchetta with the mushroom and truffle oil and fried egg on top was just divine. Bloody sausages was super tasty. And the braised short ribs really could have been a full meal itself(and so delicious). The fiancé ordered the red sangria… And then another one because that was also just really good too. 4 tapas. 2 drinks. Tax and tip… Total was around $ 93… Which seems like a lot… And for two people, it kinda is. But I really enjoyed the food and waiter was great.

So grateful that a local recommended this place for lunch! Beautiful setting, professional team, and delicious food! This wine snob even loved the sangria. A great place to bring a date or have a romantic dinner. I’ve bookmarked La Boca so I can return during my next stay in Santa Fe.

Super cool vibe, friendly servers, great wine and superior tapas. Must haves; flat iron steak served with the BEST blue cheese dip ever! Bruschetta with mushroom and fried egg was ridiculous, sounds odd but so incredibly tasty. We also ordered the special risotto with scallops and shrimp sans the shrimp due to allergy; so good with fresh herbs and subtle Parmesan shavings. Last tapas was the pork belly, also good but the least fave at our table. For three of us, 4 tapas was plenty but we had to order one more flat iron steak, yes it was that good! Loved this restaurant and would recommend to any and all visiting Santa Fe. Make sure to call for reservation, the place is tiny.

My son and I were visiting Santa Fe and decided to give La Boca a try based on the recommendation of our hotel front desk. We had a paella each($ 24 each), two tapas and a soft drink Paella were very good, mine felt a little cold but was very tasty, the portions were generous and to be honest, we both could have eaten with one We ordered the pot crème for dessert and it was also good if very rich All and all we were both very happy with our meal Total check was $ 87
