We went to the flower making class and had a great time! The instructor was very patient and helpful even though she was giving classes all day. I would recommend it for anyone, we’re going to take more classes when we get back home!

Awesome studio! I had a great time! My boyfriend and I were in from out of town visiting family and planned a stop here in advance. We attended the flower making class and it was so cool. The instructor was very nice and made everything seem so easy we were in a class with two other people and we were able to make two flowers each. It was really fun and when I get back to my hometown I think I will check out the glass blowing scene there. It was hot in the studio but that’s to be expected the oven was a whopping 2200*!!! Highly recommend!

This place is awesome! We sat front row and watched an amazing glass blowing demonstration and felt so much a part of the experience. Something you don’t want to miss!!!

Liquid Light Glass provided us one of the best afternoons we have spent in Santa Fe. We took a glass blowing class and in two hours learned about the craft and art. With the hands-on guidance of the staff, we designed and created a spherical and a heart-shaped paperweight. Call ahead to reserve a spot in the days class. Wear cool clothes(even on a day in the low 70’s, it was hot in the studio. The teaching staff are terrific artists and their work is available in the attached gallery. After creating paperweights, one can better appreciate the skill and vision of these artists.

We were excited about Liquid Light Glass in Santa Fe, and it lived up to our expectations. The shop/gallery has a beautiful collection of high-end, fine art type glass pieces. If you have the time, I’d highly recommend taking a class. We did the paperweight class and it was a great experience. Elodie and Janine were friendly and experienced teachers who led us through a series of steps to make our unique paperweights. The class had the perfect mix of us actually performing the steps and the instructors stepping in to make sure that whatever we did, the end result would look good. It was a fun and creative experience and the class was expertly taught. Highly recommend!

I’m a local Santa Fean, and I’ve long been a fan of glass artist Elodie Holmes and have taken many visitors to her studio and gallery. But I’d never taken a class until yesterday. I took nine other adult women with me for a three-hour paperweight-making class, and we had a blast. Elodie and artist Janine Caboussel made the experience feel safe, creative and powerful. And what a visually beautiful treat the whole thing was. I highly recommend this as a fabulous and unusual experience, especially for our Santa Fe visitors, who often feel so inspired by the art they see – and in this case, can get a little hands-on taste of what glass-making is like. It’s also inexpensive. You must call ahead to make reservations, though! I’m going again as soon as I can get a group of pals together! And now I have one up my sleeve when I have out-of-towners and can’t figure out how to entertain them in a new way.

Took the fam here to cross off a bucket list item. This place nailed it! Elodie walked my wife, my two teenage daughters and myself through the process step-by-step and when we were finished we were blown away by what we had created. It was fun and unique. The cost was reasonable and we made a lasting memory to take back home to Dallas. If ever in Santa Fe again, we will be scheduling another session.

Beautiful pieces of blown glass! Although a bit off the beaten path we enjoyed getting to tour the gallery as well as getting to watch them in the process of creating a new piece of glass. We had our 2yr old daughter with us and so we could only contain her for so long before we had to cut out of here. This pieces are very nice however sadly they are way out of our budget.

Small shop filled with beautiful and unique glass art. You can walk into the area where they create the art and watch as well. They have a mix of small affordable pieces along with larger higher priced items. The owner greeted us and was very pleasant as well.

Liquid light glass is a must see, must do for anyone in Santa Fe visiting or if you live here. Elodie, the owner was very attentive, pantient, and an excellent teacher who took the time to explain all of the steps. My husband and I took a class with her for our anniversary and it was such an amazing experience that next time we come back we will do it again. Her show room has amazing pieces of art. Even if you don’t plan on taking a class go by and visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Liquid Light Glass is easily one of the best glass shops in the US, and is a great place to visit for tourists and locals alike. The owner Elodie Holmes is a glass master, with over 30 years of experience, and watching her mold the molten glass is something you will never forget. During business hours her hot shop is open to the public and guests can walk in and watch her work, explore her on-site gallery of finished pieces, or check out the cold shop to see what happens to the pieces once they are cool enough to polish and prepare for sale. She also offers classes for those who wish to explore this fascinating medium. As someone who frequents her shop, I truly can’t say enough about this wonderful staple of the Santa Fe community!

Owned by an awesome queer couple, Liquid Light is a hidden gem of a glass studio. Home to one of the best hot shops in the country, which you can walk into and experience glass art in progress before stepping into their beautifully lit gallery to admire all the finished pieces. If you’re one that appreciates fine art, and are in New Mexico, definitely stop into Liquid Light. This San Franciscan is happy she did.
