Ojo Optique

Excellent service and the best fitting glasses I’ve ever owned with great lens quality. I have acetate frames and lightweight lenses. These do not slip off my face and do not leave pressure points on the bridge of my nose, despite my prescription.
Just went back to find glasses for my husband and there were many nice options available. The owners and staff took time showing him frames from many different manufacturers. Finally went with some durable german made frames suitable for my husbands active lifestyle, but really there were many great looking options.
I really like shops like this in Santa Fe and will go back again when or if I need another pair.

I was in town from Los Angeles and happened to walk by Ojo Optique. I was not looking for glasses but was intrigued by what I saw in the window, went in and was greeted by two of the most wonderful and helpful gentlemen. Both turned out to be 2 of the 3 owners. Adam and Chris. They spent over 2 hours with me looking for sun and reading glasses and I ended up purchasing 3 pair. They were knowledgeable, patient and really objective about what I looked and did not look good in. I needed their opinion and they gave it candidly. What a FANTASTIC experience. I highly recommend you stop by there great store (incredible selection of unusual and interesting brands) and take a look. Also they have a beautiful dog name Izzy who made my visit even more fun. They apparently just opened a 2^nd location in the Knob Hill area of Albuquerque

my husband was in Santa Fe for work and needed to replace his Rx glasses so he popped into Ojo to pick out a new pair of frames. We both wear Rx glasses and have several from Morgenthal Frederics in NY, as well as other frames from boutiques in LA, where we are from, so we thought Ojo would be a shoe in to replace the frames my husband brought while filming. My husband had chosen a few options, while he waiting for someone to help him, when I opened the front door of Ojo to ask my husband for the car keys to get something for our 7 month old son and literally only said, «I need the car keys babe» and one of the owners of Ojo came running at me, screaming, no exaggeration, screaming, «in or out» as his dog came running to the door to greet us. I immediately replied, «oh we are out» and we proceeded to leave and ask at the corner art gallery of another optical place and they told us to look at the optical shop of Aspen. We found that the optical shop of Aspen was not only incredibly helpful, had a better selection and better prices, but they rushed the Rx order as well as giving us a 20% discount since we ended up purchasing a couple of pairs of Rx glasses, one for everyday and a pair of sunglasses. The staff was very attentive to our needs and offered our children cold bottles of water and spoke to them like human beings. We travel so much for work and hadn’t experienced anything as pretentious or rude as we had at Ojo. I wanted to tell the owner of Ojo, «you sell glasses, keep it in perspective, having your dog off leash in a store is your prerogative but as a dog owner myself and a parent, pick your priority, is it a pet store or an optical place?»

I was in Santa Fe for a week on a business trip and needed some glasses. I wanted something that no one would have at home. Not a problem here. Their selection is fabulous and I bought two pairs.
Jed was super helpful and pulled some strings to make sure the glasses came in before I left. He fitted me and made sure everything was right. It wasn’t at all the ordeal I was expecting. He even gave me some good restaurant recommendations since this was my first time in SF. It was a fun shopping experience and I’m so happy with my selections.
If you need glasses, if you are in Santa Fe, stop by Ojo Optique. You’ll be glad you did.

This eyewear boutique not only has the best selection of eyeglasses and frames in northern New Mexico, their staff are professional, knowledgable and friendly.
The screws fell out of the temples of my old glasses and Adam was SO incredibly helpful in replacing the screws, adjusting the temples and bridge, and making sure the glasses fit perfectly. Honestly, these glasses (purchased a year ago in California) have never fit and functioned so well. I’ll certainly be coming back here for my next set of glasses!

Wow do these guys know their glasses!!! They have an incredibly unique and selective inventory. The owners are always there and work hard to find a pair of frames that look fabulous on everyone. They are able to get prescriptions back in record time and are always available for adjustments. The glasses can be a bit pricey but considering the quality and the amount of time I wear my glasses, the extra cost is well worth the investment.

I just bought a pair of glasses here while on vacation in Santa Fe. I know this is weird, but Ojo carries a great selection of unique frames and are very knowledgable about finding the right style and fit for you.
Be aware that of accepting vision insurance is important, they don’t participate. Out of network reimbursement should be an option though.
