These people are nasty and pretentious, overcharging for even children’s classes. Manager was especially mean because I wouldn’t shell out more money. It was as if I was being pressured to rent a studio space. I like ceramics but will never return mainly because of the haughty arrogant attitude displayed by staff.

Can’t rate this business as a place to take classes, because I haven’t. Stopped by the other day to look at their gallery exhibit, and pieces for sale by potters invited to do workshops or be part of a show. The current show is drably and boringly precious. While there are exquisite pieces in their inventory, even well-​known potters are capable of producing crap. And the snotty, arrogant baggage who presided over the place that afternoon made looking even at the good stuff distasteful. I’m not interested in providing specifics about what I liked or didn’t like. If you enjoy contemporary ceramics, go look. Just avoid the rude, pretentious «clerk» at the sales counter.
