Great place to visit! What a unique store to purchase fabulous chocolate which is creatively presented. Whether you are buying for yourself or as a gift, this is a special place to buy the item most people love… chocolate! And then to buy that item presented in a work of art box? Ah… that is really special! Treat yourself! Treat your friends! Visit and buy from Todos Santos Chocolates!

I wanted to adore this place, but even though the truffles were great and very creative I felt for such a small place I had hoped that there would have been more choice of chocolates and less décor. I also think that the prices were obscenely exorbitant.

Obviously the chocolate is amazing, although I agree with another Unilocaler’s comment at $ 3 per piece; there is a lot of pressure to make sure you really really like the chocolate you selected or it can feel you’ve «wasted» your money. The cost can add up quickly if you are creating a custom chocolate box, and trust me it is easy to get carried away!

The most amazing chocolate truffles — yum! I love all the colourful southwestern decorations and some very interesting(and not-for-children) Pez dispensers. Pricey but worth it, and a great place to find a gift for a chocolate lover.

$ 12 for a Pralus bar and $ 10 for a Recchiuti bar. To put these prices in perspective, I recently bought a Pralus bar for $ 9.50 at a pricey place in Santa Barbara and bought bars on sale at Recchiuti’s store in San Francisco at $ 4.50. Do I need to continue?

Pros — Cool, boutique Dia de los Muertos look from the outside, continued on the inside. — Small, intimate shop feels unique. — Very friendly and helpful sales attendant on the day we visited. — Tasty, attractive chocolates. — Interesting décor. Cons — At $ 3+ per bite of chocolate, there’s a lot of pressure on your selections, and for each to taste good. Not all our bites were as transcendent as the price. In other words, not worth it. –1 star — Although the Dia de los Muertos motif was cool, some of the décor and themed candy wrappings were cheap-looking. -.5 stars — Although one sales person was very friendly, a balding guy who appeared to be the owner or manager appeared very cold. After I’d taken a number of pictures inside of the chocolates and décor, he seemed to suddenly notice and barked rudely at me that pictures were not allowed due to artistic protections in place. Then he turned his back to my wife and me, and acted like he was too busy sorting chocolates to give us the courtesy of any further attention. Owner: If you haven’t noticed, your shop was featured on the Food Network with video rolling inside the store, now posted on YouTube for billions of folks to see. In fact, that’s how I found your place. –1 star — At $ 3+ per bite of chocolate, I would expect the highest levels of hygiene, or at least the usual appearance thereof, such as using plastic gloves or paper to put my chocolates in a bag. Not here. They just grab them with their fingers, which are hopefully washed. -.5 stars

I just love this place, though it is not for the timid and meek. I say this because they had rows of big and small anatomically correct diablos(albeit, adult eye level). But i digress… Todos Santos is located within the charming Casa Sena courtyard but inside the store is wonderful, wacky, impressive chocolate heaven. They have creative, intriguing, fun-filled chocolate gift packs and in the case, you will find some amazing chocolates. I found the chaps that work there are very attentive and helpful chaps. Pricey but well worth it; get a few pieces and enjoy.

This was a nice little chocolate boutique. They had a great selection of items — different kinds of chocolates from different vendors from all over the world. This a good spot to visit if you’re looking for a quick chocolate fix.

I think this choco shop is a lovely place for ultra-hip candy gifts! You will pay a pretty penny for these treats though! A fancy bar of chocolate runs in the double digits, but it’ll come wrapped like nothing you’ve ever seen before, it’ll be totally worth it if you’re trying to impress someone. Better yet, take your Chocolate Lover to the store, let them pic amongst the treats– it’s essentially the Tiffany’s of choccy shoppes and you’re gonna love it.

This place will hit you like a Costco warehouse full of black licorice. Whoo! I can’t say I enjoyed the smell but it was such a cute store and almost every inch was covered with decorations and sweetes. It was not your Sweet Factory kind of shop, that’s for sure. I was craving something sour and all they had were Sour Balls. Hmm, I think I’ll pass. They had a lot of chocolate, nuts and even lighters that had Ariel from The Little Mermaid with large jugs. Candy for all sorts of sweet tooths, I guess. They had a jar with large, white and pink squishy square tubes wrapped in plastic. I squeezed it a bit and it was a bit tough but the gent behind the counter said they were marshmallows. Interesting! I took a card and thought, what wonderful unique gifts these could be as party favors. I did find a penny right outside the door so I guess I scored!

This little gem of a store is nestled in a lovely courtyard hidden from some of the common foot traffic of the Plaza in Santa Fe. It is worth the search to find because it is such a lovely little place(especially in the full bloom of summer), decorated with beautiful dangling paper flowers from Mexico. The confections either handmade gold leafed chocolate Milagros(that they are known for), or the hard to find French, Italian, or Belgian import specialties are amazing. If you are in the neighborhood come Halloween, pop in and see the sugar skulls for Dia De Los Muertos, simply beautiful.

Although they can be a little tricky to find in their courtyard, they’re just blocks from the Santa Fe plaza and it’s fun wandering to find it. It’s worth the effort. They’re the closest thing to a good chocolate shop we’ve found in New Mexico. Although the selection is somewhat limited, what they have is always yummy. We’ve found ourselves hooked on good quality chocolate and it’s nice to have some relatively close.
