I’ve been a daily customer and 5/​2, I asked for my ice to be bagged separately… I thought the owner was going to unhinge. I know he is the owner because had told me before he was at an earlier time.
I left embarrassed and vowed never to return… today I went to CVS next door, bought the same items and saved over $ 5!!! Maybe that’s the way they do business in his part of the world… for me .he can wave to me as I walk into CVS as he is prone to smoke his cigarettes outside
I will never enter into his business again…

I used to buy lottery tickets here. The last time I came and bought a ticket with 10 dimes. The man working the counter told me it wasn’t cash. I told him that it was legal tender and that it was «cash». He mumbled something and gave me a ticket anyway. I have also come in and the lottery machine was broken?!

To be candid, I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of: caveat emptor!!!
Sessions beer was over a year past the brewer’s recommended shelf life. I noted this to the guy at the register, and a couple week’s later. .. the old stuff was still on the shelf. Really? Also, while I understand individually owned liquor stores struggle to compete with the large liquor chains, why would I want to pay $ 11 more for a good bottle of vodka than I would at BevMo? I can understand a couple of bucks, but a mark up of 40% or more is ridiculous! I vote with my feet…

Best selection of craft brews in a 30 mile radius. well worth the extra 12 minute Liquor store run. Call in and ask if they got what you’re looking for, because if they don’t have it, you’re csol.

Orcutt, CA
No question the best spot in Orcutt and as far as I’ve seen the whole SM valley for microbrews and craft brews. This is my dig on a good six pack and always has what I want. I couldn’t tell you how the selection of Bud and Coors is because I turn back the other way when I hit the Sam Adams. A little pricey but they got the goods so I gotta pay.
