I shop at this Chico’s frequently, as it is nearest to my home. I like their designs (LOVE their «Traveleres» line!) and in general have found the service to be adequate to good.
My chief gripes are 1.) lack of a parking lot or designated parking area and 2.) abbreviated evening store hours. (They close at 8:00PM instead of 9:00PM as is usual in L.A.)
Not knowing this, I arrived at the shop at around 8:20PM the other evening – after going around the block 3 or 4 times in search of a space – only to find them closed. Bummer!

My mother is a regular visitor to this store and I will make sure she doesn’t ever go back and spend another cent there. Over the years I have taken her she has had terrible customer service there about 70% of the time. Yesterday I had to pick something up for her that was paid for and just needed to be handed to me. They were busy and in slow motion so I asked it if t was possible if she wouldn’t just mind handing me the bag as it was paid for. The lady was so incredibly rude and unhelpful that I refuse to ever spend a cent in there again. Chico need to seriously train their staff on customer service. They employ older grumpy woman there that clearly don’t want to be there or think it’s okay to be rude. It’s time to train them or move them out Chico if you want people to return. Consistent terrible experiences at this store. Spend your money at a store that appreciates customer service.

I give it a 1 star.
the selection of clothing and styles is very good.
the staff not so helpful.
especially a tall African American saleslady who is very inadequate.
she not only is not aware of any sales or specials and you have to really insist to have her give them to you she also tries to help 3 or 4 ladies at the same time therefore helping no one.
you have to wait at register forever as she chats with others and than when she finally rings you up (after having had to fight over specials price with her which by the way is advertised all over the store) she just throws merchandise in bag with receipt and leaves it there for you without as much as a thank you or actually looking at you.
This person needs more customer service training and training period!
as a mystery shopper I was not at all impressed and would not shop at that particular Chico s again
