Donna Malatino for Hair

I recently visited Hale Organic Salon in New York City and had the pleasure of a cut and color by the organic hair stylist, Donna Malatino.
Here is an excerpt of the review I posted.
The main reason for my visit was to get my hair colored and cut by the stylist Donna Malatino. Donna is a West Coast based stylist who comes to NYC every 4 — 5 weeks to cater to her NY based clients. Hale Salon is the best place to get an appointment with her since she is always in high demand. Donna made me feel relaxed and comfortable as she walked me thru our initial consultation. She took the time to explain the products she would be using on my hair. Note– I have not had my hair colored since late 2012. I felt confident enough to let her do her magic.
I am very pleased and would highly recommend Donna. The cut was expertly executed and the color very natural looking. If you have the opportunity to get an appointment with her, I suggest you call Hale Salon and book now. I intend on doing the same.
This was my first time at Hale and I have to say, I really like this salon. They offer all organic hair care products which is very high on my list since I do not like to put chemicals in my body. The front desk was very friendly and I did not feel intimidated like some salons can make you feel when its your first time there.

I thought Donna was nuts for wanting to change my round look to a square look — and then came the bangs! After the initial shock I realized that this is THE BEST haircut I’ve ever gotten and i’m going back for more! It’s been a head turner and none of my friends could believe it was me! You can trust this woman with scissors and with your hair! :-) I challenge you to go see for yourself! She is lots of fun to visit with and great with haircut chickens like me! :-)

I have gotten haircuts from Donna for the past 5 years. My haircuts have always been better than I have expected. She’s one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and really does care for your well being. I have nothing but great things to say!
