I order a sofa from this place and my experience was the worse. First thing the timing on delivery was way of and the second the sofa quality was horrible. The worse sofa I have ever purchase in my life.
I been trying to call and follow up with them for fixing up my sofa but no answers.
They know how bad it is and Francesca the owner always try to talk me out of it. But when I place the order she wanted all the money upfront.
Very bad experience with this store.
I feel bad to write this review but I been waiting for few months now and nothing has happen.

I went in here a few months ago and was helped by a really knowledgeable and helpful sales person — I think is name was Bill or Will. We picked out a new couch and some additional décor for my new condo on the West Side. I went home to discuss with my fiancée and when I returned, all hell broke loose.
When I came back, I was helped by the owner who you would think would be the most helpful and knowledgeable. WRONG! She not only couldn’t tell me where my order that I had worked on with the sales person, but she told me that he was no longer working there. She proceeded to be completely disrespectful and rushed me through what I had picked out before. Then she acts condescending when I was a bit shocked at the price — to make a long story short, she told me that she could not honor the original quote. I was even outraged at how disrespectfully she did treat the other employees while I was there too. I left without buying a thing — never going back.
So I also later looked online to see what I could find from one my own and I found the EXACT items for less than half the price by the original vendors. It’s too bad that the owner is so rude and unethical — they have some really nice items if you want to pay 3 times as much as elsewhere!

It’s legitimately difficult for me to write SUCH a negative review. I pride myself on being able to remain calm and understanding of where/​why someone may be acting the way they do.
In addition, I’m ALL for supporting local business. As a longtime westside resident, I’ve heard the horror stories of dealing with Francesca. Luckily for me, her stuff was just overpriced enough that I couldn’t afford it.
Thanks to some good old luck and juuuuust a bit of hard work, I went to the store to furnish my new home. I can’t begin to describe the disappointment and outright shock that someone could run a business this way. Francesca was arrogant, condescending, rude and nothing short of a nightmare. Disrespectful doesn’t begin to cover the way she treats her staff. I was so turned off by this ego masquerading as a woman, that I only ended up spending about $ 1,000 or so at which point she proceeded to degrade me for «wasting» her time.
Again — I’m all for supporting the community. I’ve been here a long time and want to keep Venice weird. But this woman does not deserve our hard earned dollars. This was as insulting a retail experience as I’ve had, and highly suggest everyone avoid it.

These guys are amazing. I went here for the first time yesterday and fell in love with a Kilim Chair. I was up all night thinking about it and went back today to make it mine. They have such cool furniture, very unique and so well-​made and a real genuine appreciation for their craft and their customers. I interacted with both Ahmed (the owner) and Will and they were both so helpful and very kind. I really look forward to having a reason to go back.

We were very disappointed by the lack of customer service offered by this store. We ordered a custom couch on a rush. There was very little follow-​up or communication with us about the progress of our order. It ended up taking three full weeks rather than the promised 5 days. When we finally got the couch it was not as we ordered. We ordered 2 cushions and there was only one and we ordered a convertible chaise which was not included. We had to call every day to check in since we were never given a clear answer on when to expect delivery and no one followed-​up with us. When I called in the final day we were expecting delivery (after waiting all day for a phone call from Francesca as she promised) she pretended she did know me and gave me the blow-​off telling me to call the other store. Delivery charges were also way more than were quoted. Some commitment to customer service and better communication would have gone a long way for us. Very frustrating experience. We will never shop here again.

Stopped by a few months ago to check out the new location — a big fan of the store in Venice — and am in love! It’s a little bit more chic than the boho vibe of the Venice store, filled with beautiful high-​quality furniture and unique one of a kind art. They do a great job of picking pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing while also being high quality, functional and incredibly comfortable! Hands down one of the best furniture stores on the westside.

This store is awesome. They have unique pieces at great prices. I highly suggest shopping here if you are looking for some new furniture. Also, Francesca is delightful! She’ll help you find just the right pieces for your home.
