My boss is 83 and had been seeing Dr. Pak for years. Then we wanted to switch all of his Doctors to the UCLA system.(So ALL of your info is in one computer database.) We now had Dr. Bass in SM. He’s a VERY good cardiologist but his office staff sucks the big one. I won’t go into it here. Back we came running to Dr. Pak who didn’t seem to mind the hiatus. He’s pretty cool like that. My boss sees about 20 doctors for different things and Dr. Pak is BYFAR the most knowledgeable all around(Dr. Lisa Moore is a VERY close second) He answers all of my emails in a timely fashion and has literally saved my boss’s life a few times by making the right decision. He is very knowledgeable about drugs, he could almost be an internist. He doesn’t rush appointments and will answer all of your questions. To Dr. Pak, you aren’t just his 10AM but a person who he cares about. If you are looking for a Dr. who actually has a brain in their head and NO chip on their shoulders, call this guy and make an appointment. Also, he’s not super old so he’s very into technology.(I don’t know how old he is and can’t even give you an idea because he’s asian and they don’t age.) J/K :) The most important lesson I have learned from working for an 83 year old with SO many health issues, is not all Doctors are created equal. I used to have a respectful attitude towards anyone with an MD but now I don’t. I have seen some very bad mistakes primarily caused by large egos and I urge you to look around. Search your health problems online and look up the drugs they give you online. No one can care for YOU like you can.
