Renshinkan California

Our daughters have been taking karate classes with Renshinkan California chief instructor, Sensei William Candelario for four years. He has given my children much more than the physical benefits of karate practice; but has instilled the invaluable gifts of confidence, discipline and respect.
He is an extremely gifted teacher who has the ability to bring shy children out of their shell and center children that have a difficult time focusing. In the four years of observing his classes, I have seen many children be transformed and shine through taking his classes.
Unlike many other karate studio «chains» and martial arts classes offered in fitness gyms in the Los Angeles Area and across the United States — Sensei Candelario teaches Shorinji-​ryu Renshinkan Karate Do in its purest form, as in Japan.
He has been a great role model to my kids, including making them a part of his work at the charitable dojo he founded at the Villa Esperanza Center in South Central Los Angeles for ar risk youth and that he is always giving back to the community!
I highly recommend his class!
