Love Dr. Sorotzkin! She is very approachable and I feel like I have a friend as well as a good doctor!

And you can get an email chart thru Providence/​her office where you can post questions, make appts., and request Med. Refills and get answers the same day.

I have been with Dr. Sorotzkin for 3 years now. I have SEVERE trust issues along with a health challenge I have found Dr. Sorotzkin to be patient and understanding. She is through and can gently be a no nonsense physician. Which I value greatly. She will also wait for you to come to terms with your diagnosis and the resulting ramifications. I have recommended her to several friends and colleagues who have been more than satisfied. If you want intelligence, skill, compassion, and humor when you need it, this is the physician you want on your medical team. She checks in on you… how many docs do that? ??

Has been my GP for the past couple of years. Easy to schedule an appointment, especially if you are seen by Lauren Gorence, the PA, who works there and has seen me each time. She is professional, intelligent, quick, and kind. They take many forms of insurance, which is great.

Horrible all around! The doctor is cold and her office staff are incompetent! No one, including the doctor, seemed to know that an annual physical exam does not have to include a Pap smear. Dumb!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Sorotzkin yesterday and I couldn’t be more pleased! All I can say is everything about my experience far exceed my expectations. From Dr. Sorotzkin’s knowledge and sincere compassion, to the wonderful staff, to the beautiful office… everything was amazing. I can’t remember the last time I felt so cared for and not just a wigit on an assembly line (get it thru as fast as you can). I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room or the exam room. Just amazing!

This was a terrible experience. I am changing doctors. Don’t go here.

Dr. Sorotzkin was my GP for a year, altho I never actually met her until I went in after being rear-​ended in a car accident. She never actually examined me either at this visit, just sat in a chair on the other side of the room and asked me questions. After telling me that I was fine and nothing was wrong with me, she put down on my chart that I had a preexisting condition. My insurance refused to cover the visit because of this mysterious preexisting condition and I’m dealing with getting this situation resolved a year after my visit. If I have a condition, I’d really love to know about it!

It is now 3 but i don’t know if this billing issue is not resolved… I was charged an outrageous amount and now that a corporation is handling the billing no one is willing to deal with this over charge. I was told that I was rude and basically was hung up on. I have been a patient for a long time…
I also brought my daughter and she received sub-​par care.

I called for a new patient appointment an hour before closing yesterday and the receptionist was able to give me a next day appointment, not with the doctor, but with the PA. I’ve seen nurse practitioners before and never had a problem, so I thought what the heck, if it gets me seen sooner, I’m all for it.
I got there early today to fill out paperwork (surprisingly minimal!) and pretty much as soon as I returned the insurance paperwork to the receptionist, a nurse was out to get me – 30 minutes BEFORE my appointment time. She did the vitals and left so I could change. I sat down for maybe two minutes after changing when there was a knock on the door.
I must say, I LOVE Lauren, the PA. She kind, smart, funny, and she actually listens to symptoms, complaints, and questions. She is by far the most caring healthcare professional that I have seen in years. She spent a full hour with me and was very considerate and thorough. She wrote me a prescription for a very specific form of birth control, gave me a referral to a specialist to get something checked, and made sure I had the information I needed so I could get better educated about my runner’s knee. The only small thing I didn’t like is that she didn’t give me my 1^st choice for the prescription, but that was because she was literally not able to do it — neither she nor Dr Sorotzkin have been trained on Implanon (the subdermal birth control implant). She did, however, offer to find an OB/​GYN who would do it for me if I wanted. Great! On top of all that awesomeness, I’ve always hated pelvic exams, but this was the first one I have ever gotten that didn’t feel like I was being molested — just a little discomfort, and that was it. I don’t even care about seeing Dr Sorotzkin for future appointments now, I will request Lauren every time!
The lab/​tech staff was great, too. I needed a very specific, fairly rare test done and they worked with me to get me the information that I needed to see if it would be covered by my insurance.
Between my experiences with Lauren and the other staff at Dr Sorotzkin’s office, I think I’ve found myself a new doctor!

I am extremely pleased with Dr. Sorotzkin and her staff — they are friendly, responsive and somehow the experience manages to be peaceful. The new office has a very calm, serene feel to it. They take the time to follow up with you after your visit and fully answer any questions you have. I’ve seen a handful of doctors over the last 10 years (due to relocation, job changes, etc) and my experience at Dr. Sorotzkin’s office has been the best.
