Everyone is so nice and the environment is so welcoming here. Would not hesitate to recommend anyone to this facility. Rosa, in the front desk area, is amazing. I hope this review is seen by her supervisors as she really deserves accolades for her customer service.

Had US guided core-Needle biopsy today for suspicious breast lump. After reading different forums online about it I was seriously freaking out!!! But WOW — this couldn’t have gone any smoother! Radiologist Dr. Pool and technician Oksana explained every little thing in detail and made me feel SO much easier and assured I wont feel any pain or discomfort. Whole thing after all preparations ONLY took 10 min. It was obvious that Dr. Pool has done this gazillion of times, as her manipulations with all those needles were seamless and effortless and her skill as doctor-radiologist felt to be polished to perfection(believe me, I had couple other things done similar in other places and they were a nightmare). I had NO pain even when she did initial numbing(just tiny sting) and no pain throughout. SO impressed. US technologist Oksana was extremely sweet and made sure I felt more then comfortable and at easy. Thank you VERYMUCH guys!

Like a five star hotel for you and your breast exam. Seriously, that’s the best way I can put it. I’m mid-thirties and my doctor requested a mammogram and ultrasound to find out what my lump was.(Just a cyst thankfully.) I found the Women’s Imaging Center on my own when I was cost comparing my hospital to UCLA. UCLA won hands down in that department. Parking is validated which is a big plus. Making an appointment was easy, the receptionists were amazingly warm and welcoming, the facility itself is clean, comfortable and puts you at ease. Trang who worked with me on the mammogram was WONDERFUL. She talked me through every little thing she was doing and why, making sure I was comfortable at every stage. The equipment looked new and was as comfortable as you can make it, I would think. My ultrasound technician was kind, thorough, and quick but never made me feel rushed. And the doctor I met with answered all my questions. Hopefully I won’t need to be back until I’m 40, but I would recommend this place to every woman! Also, my husband accompanied me but had to stay in the waiting area as it is a «women’s» imaging center. They made him feel welcome as well, but I also appreciate that they really make it a women’s only area in the back.

Absolutely the best women’s center period! Kind, courtesy, knowledgeable. Results given out quickly. Low wait times. Beautiful soothing environment. Check your insurance because this is the place to go.

Be prepared to wait 20 – 45 mins in the waiting room. :( I’m writing this review as I wait now. The walls are really thin so you can hear other peoples business which isn’t always positive. Front desk is sweet and helpful. And dr. B is very sweet and helpful. Good luck

These guys are fabulous and make you feel comfortable at every step from routine mammograms(they have 3D) to the more extensive exams such as ultrasound and biopsy. You are never left waiting very long. My biopsy was virtually painless and very easy!

I have been having my yearly mammogram here for years. I love the friendly staff, always smiling and sensitive when performing the mammograms. I trust and love all the radiologists, Dr. Debruhl, Dr. Hoyt, Dr. Yagmai among my favorite because they were on my «team» when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004. Today, I had my first 3-D mammogram, using the BARCO imaging machine, performed by Mona. It was just like a regular digital mammogram, but 3 seconds longer, although it seemed to go much faster. I understand the Barco 3-D imaging machine is the State of the Art. I was able to view the«slices» and different movie views afterwards which was amazing, like an MRI. My insurance will cover this 3-D 100% as my yearly screening, which is fantastic news. I am healthy today, and do not fear my yearly mammogram, especially since I know the UCLA team is on my side. Who would think I actually look forward to my yearly mammogram? So if you need to have a mammogram, come to UCLA Barbara Kort Imaging Center. It’s located on the street level of the building. Do not enter the main building lobby. This imaging center has their own separate entrance from the street.
