Nearby Stinky’s had 1 hour wait so we were glad to travel inland a few miles for this spiffy seafood spot
Excellent service and terrific food, with interesting stuff for kids. Blackened grouper and crab cakes big hits, but grilled oysters to die for.

We have visited Bayou Bills in every visit to Destin. Sooo very good! Fried Shrimp not greasy, also Po Boy sandwich fantastic. They prepared fish in season excellently. We will be back!

It was a decent meal. We were seated fast. This place is great for large groups. Very open. Service was good. I had shrimp, gumbo, red fish, and scallops. All good stuff. The prices are reasonable as well.

I had the blackened red fish and my wife had the Orleans redfish. We thought both dishes were very good. Alligator appetizer sautéed, was quite a small portion but it was decent. Service was decent, atmosphere nice and casual. Good experience.

So this was my first time here and I had a great experience! Service was great and the food was even better! They were having a special on crab claws as an appetizer and I could have just had that for my meal! Huge portions! The ONLY con for me would be the fact that they are only opened in the evening and open up at 5pm and close at 10pm. (Probably a way of managing supply). Other that that, everything was great! Fast and friendly service and clean place are always a plus. I would definitely recommend for the seafood lover!

I thought it was always a safe bet until last time. The food was dry as if it had been cooked well in advance. Still, will probably give it another try next visit.

Looked extremely busy from parking lot and in fact they were, but had no waiting time! That was excellent. The service was a 110%! The food was what I wanted almost to a «T» and I left very satisfied. The crab legs were great and the only reason this place wasn’t a 5 star is bc I’ve had exceptional crab legs in Maui that are too hard to compete with. The bathrooms were a little messy and I could have used more napkins at the table but still… Great!

I am pretty disappointed with this place! Checked out this place for our last meal before going back to Ga. Let just say I wouldn’t be coming back here anytime soon or come back again.
We ordered the Crab Feast for 2 and they run out of blue crabs so they give us more Snow crabs. I just feel like the bucket wasn’t worth $ 79 for it. I was expecting some sore of house flavor to this bucket. I feel like they just reboil the crabs and put some New Orland season on top of the crabs. Like really??? Our crabs was cold and it just taste bland. I wasn’t really happy! I love eating my snow crabs hot so the flavor can be more flavorful and juicy. There was dungeon crabs in the bucket as wells and the dungeon crabs was frozen crab, which wasn’t that great. Let just say this bucket wasn’t worth it.
My sister order the house Special Seafood bucket. It had a about 4 calms, two oysters, sausage, potatoes and 4 shrimps, 3 muscles and one snow crabs. Her was pretty much like mine! Really nothing special about this at all. Everything was over cooked, so all the meats was too cooked and small.
my sister boyfriend had the Orland dish and it had one crab cake and a half fish. His dish was ok, nothing really special about his.
My dad was just craving for steak, so we ordered him steak and that was the worst steak ever! So dry and it wasn’t great! He didn’t even eat half of his steak! My little sister order ribs and it wasn’t worth it as well. Her ribs was dry and hard.

We eat here every year on our vacation, and Bayou Bill’s has never disappointed. Tonight, my wife and I shared the crab cakes and fried shrimp. It was delicious, and the service was great, too. There’s a guy who makes blown glass figurines at a stand outside the restaurant to keep the little ones occupied when theres a wait. If you’re staying in or near Santa Rosa Beach, give Bayou Bill’s a try.

Tried to go to Stinkys Fish Camp but the wait was ridiculous. This place seemed dead, but the food was great. Got the broiled seafood platter which was exactly what I needed. Highly recommend it.

We decided to eat here because of the favorable Unilocal reviews. However, we were disappointed. The oyster po boy came with 4 little oysters and the key lime pie was gross. I have never had key lime pie like the one which was served here. It’s all whipped cream with some extract (I think it was lemon, not even lime) and a dough crust… No graham cracker crust.
It was very disappointing and basically a dough crust that was filled up with a cool whip type cream.
We won’t be back.

We were having a difficult time finding anything that wasn’t overpriced mediocrity in Destin. Went to Bill’s based on Unilocal and are glad we did. This is a perfect example of a well managed restaurant that knows what they can do well, do it, and don’t try to be something they aren’t. It’s a seafood joint with great seafood, very good staff, decent prices, and a comfortable, quiet atmosphere. If we ever make it back to Destin, we’ll definitely stop in for another meal.

Went for dinner with 8 people. Perfect for large groups. Tasted large raw oysters, blackened grouper, redfish Orleans and seafood gumbo. All were delicious! Cute t-​shirts, too.

We had a positive experience a few years back, so we went back for seafood prior to departing Destin (Santa Rosa Beach).
I would have given it only one star, but our previous visit was better, so I’m giving it two stars as an offset adjustment.
It was very disappointing for two reasons. We were with an average sized group that they easily cater to, but the food was just bad all-​around. My wife is a seafood junkie, and she said it wasn’t that good. I’ve seen her wolf down lobster, shrimp, and crab like there was no tomorrow, and she was disappointed. That was reason number one… disappointing the wifey.
Reason two is a far more serious offense… I am allergic to seafood, but luckily approximately 99% of the seafood restaurants I have been to ALWAYS have the «Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo» option. This is what I ordered, because they have very *serious* wording in their menus about adults ordering off the kids menu… so no mac n cheese, or cheese pizza option.
Their «Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo» was HORRIBLE!!! I mean, SERIOUSLY!!! HOW DO YOU MESS THIS DISH UP!!!
The chicken was dry and had an after-​taste which was wretched, and no matter how much I soaked it in Alfredo, no amount of Alfredo was enough!
As if it couldn’t get any worse, the Alfredo sauce was tragic!!! Chef Robert Irvine couldn’t have saved this sauce, which scares me what I actually ate, but it was just plain bad, and it also had a funky after-​taste. Maybe they should call Chef Robert Irvine so he can taste it, shake his little head, and then slam his sledge hammer on the plate. It was that disappointing.
Please take my review with a grain of salt, given I am biased at seafood joints, since I can’t eat seafood, but how do you mess up Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo!!!
Maybe all the other items on the menu are top-​notch, but my wife’s crab legs, and my dish were just bad…

Oyster is very big and fresh, the snow crab taste good too. Oh, one more cool thing is they raise alligator at outside of reasraunt. For customers who have something to do when wait the table. We like this place

After driving around for an hour trying to get into a place for our anniversary as tourists, we stopped at Bayou Bills. Glad we did! The crab bisque was delicious, tuna steak wonderful and Key Lime Pie GREAT! Don’t miss this stop.

I am not a frequent reviewer, but I couldn’t help but write this. We had a party of 8 on a Saturday night which we know can be tough at times. Starting with the hostess, who’s name we did not get, to our waitress Tonya, the service was excellent. Tonya did not write down what we ordered or how we ordered it, but she got all 8 orders spot on. She always had a smile and made our dining experience an absolute pleasure.
As for the food, we had a few appetizers and everyone had fish for the entrée. Everything was done exactly as ordered and tasted delicious which completed our excellent dining experience.
We are in the area twice a year and will definitely come back.

Walked in with 9 people at 7:30 on a Friday night and sat right down. That can be a bad sign, but I think they are just set up to handle large groups.
It’s a little pricey. Our dinner for 4 was $ 100 including tip (no alcohol), but everyone was happy with their dinner.
Service was hard working and friendly.
Don’t get the alligator app. Go for the grilled oysters in stead.

Hands down best seafood experience we had while in town. Visited the location in PCB as well as the Destin location. Both were excellent. Food quality was excellent both times. Service was excellent as well. Mike served us in Destin. The food enjoyed was oysters on half shell, fried shrimp, popcorn shrimp, crab cakes, snow crab, king crab, and fries and hush puppies. The crab was not over cooked as it was at THE CRAB TRAP IN PC. The crabs were perfect. Extremely happy with our visit. We will be back!!! By the way, I’m not sure why people are talking about the cole slaw badly. It was very decent.
