Steamboat Bar & Grill

I have eaten here a couple times and I am more than impressed by the food… and the service! The service is fantastic! I never had to flag a server to get a beer (or shot) they were very attentive and fun to talk too! I think it’s strange that people have commented on the service here because I have never been let down.
If you want delicious food, great service and a fun atmosphere here is where you need to go.
Let’s be honest… great food, cold beer and awesome service, what else could you ask for? Make sure you try this place and decide for yourself.

Looked like a local place, and had no wait on a holiday weekend, so we figured we would give it a shot. After being seated for a while without seeing a server, we decided to leave when a roach crawled across the table.

Three stars because the food was actually quite good.
Less than four stars because the service could have done a lot better. Here is why:
We came with a party of 12 and the waiter acted extremely surly and uptight about the accommodations. BUT SUDDENLY, half way three ordering, he made a complete 180 and starting acting overly, and in-​your-​face friendly which did not seem real. I ordered a beer before our food was served and needed another one after finishing my meal because I was thirsty. He was no where in sight for 20 minutes. And the place was not even packed.
When another server started collecting our plates and asking us about dessert, I asked her if she could bring me a second beer because I was so thirsty. SHE NEVER BROUGHT IT and the first server finally returns to continue telling weird jokes and gave us the check to get rid of us. I left there thirsty and only had one beer.

My Husband, Son and I were lucky enough to stumble in this fabulous restaurant before our check-​in at Seaside. The food was out of this world as well as the service! Food made fresh every day. Don’t forget dessert. what a treat!!!

Great little pub. Good burgers & my favorite is the shrimp platter!

Great food but mediocre service.
We had stopped at this restaurant as our first stop on vacation. We were waiting to be able to check in to our house. We are here around 1−2pm and there was only one server and she was also the bartender. They were not overly busy but for one individual, extremely busy, I just hope she wasn’t responsible for cooking as well.
As an Indy Unilocaler seeing my waitress in a Colts jersey was fun!
The food was outstanding, the burgers were cooked perfectly and my seafood gumbo and oyster Rockefeller was just what I needed to properly start vacation.
I would give this restaurant another go when I am in town, I think service wise they were just having a rough day!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! My husband and I both got food poisoning from this place. Their floors are dirty, guys use the girls bathroom and piss all over the place. We puked and crapped our brains out for 24 hrs straight!!!

This is a great little all purpose pub and restaurant. The crowd is mostly local with a diverse offering of opinions and lifestyles. The menu features your typical bar offering but with suprising quality. Additionally there are several offering that reflect the tasts of the owner Apple and her staff. Try the kimchee…
TV’s surround the dining room making it a decent sports venue. The back corner of the bar houses a half dozen machines for the pinball wizard among us.
