Okay, it seems hardly Unilocalworthy to rate a gasoline station. Unilocalers heavily focus on restaurants. I on the other hand write most of my reviews on small businesses of every kind where my review will make a difference for the better, at least that is always my intention. This Chevron station is a mini-mart, semi-fast food restaurant, and gasoline station all in one. The mini-mart is called Redwood Market and is part of a small chain of Redwood Markets around Sonoma County and farther north. The semi-fast food restaurant is called Aztec Grill and as the name implies is Mexican food oriented. The gas is from the California based, mega-company, Chevron. Redwood Market is pretty much a convenience store like 7-Eleven, only smaller. Aztec Grill is part of the Redwood Market company, and every Redwood Market has an Aztec Grill in it. I am not impressed with convenience stores and certainly not processed, frozen, junk food that is microwaved on-demand behind the cash register. In fact, I no longer believe in any type of processing of food, even for preservation, or long-term storage. Convenience in my mind is part of the seduction of technology. .. a misused bane of humanity. Fortunately, the Aztec Grill«restaurant» inside the Redwood Market that is part of the Chevron station is better than 7-Eleven, convenience stores, or other mini-mart gas station food. For one, they actually have a professional grill and take your order«for here or to go.» The line cooks take their cooking seriously and the hand-made burritos are pretty decent. There are several small tables inside for eating or just taking a break from driving. But, I must say, as petrochemicals go, even though my Volvo still generates hydrocarbons, and my carbon footprint is still way too high, Chevron Supreme Gasoline with Techron has been an outstanding choice. I now have 442,000(yes, 442 thousand) miles on my beautiful Volvo! I put all those miles on myself and all with Chevron gas. My one and only previous car, a BMW3-series I bought new when I was 21 years old, attained over 300,000 miles before I sold it, all on Chevron Supreme. My brother still has my BMW. I tend to be a loyal customer when I find something that fits me. I like the fact that Chevron was originally a San Francisco company. Their Information Technology [IT] center used to be San Ramon when I supported IBM data centers during my IT career way back when. And, I like the Chevron theme colors and symbol(hey, I’m an artist, and I actually«feel» colors). I cannot argue with obvious results. Car with 442,000 miles all on Chevron gas = five stars, boom! Chevron is a corner occupant of this commercial strip that has other businesses, a retail store and an eatery. diesel @3.39 was to good to pass up, didn’t fill up though. had to buy more fuel later. just used my CC, almost fuel up and split.

Awesome friendly guys work here. Their burritos are really good also. They have dollar tacos as well. I would recommend going here.

Right there at the corner. Pull up, pay for gas at the pump, pump it, and leave. It has served its purpose without any fuss, beggers asking for change or in exchange for washing your windshield.
