This place has good food but the atmosphere of the restaurant is a dark, tacky, lackluster identity crisis. Service was lacking but the server was running the floor alone. Overall, the cuisine earns a 4, but the horrifying ambiance drags it down a notch.

I had an awesome time here with my friends after finding out the winery that we had visited only serve processed meat. This restaurant had many options on its menu and they all tastes great! Upon arriving on a Sunday afternoon, we were seated within 2 minutes. My friends got the ribs, chicken and waffles, while I got the crab cake eggs Benedict. My friends gave me a piece of their food while I gave them mines, we all felt it tasted pretty good! Our server was nice and had asked us how the food was and etc. Give this place a try, you won’t regret!

So weird to me how many reviews express that they’ve experienced poor service. This is my most frequented breakfast spot in the past year(probably been 15 – 20 times) and have had iffy service ONE time from a server I never saw again. I’ve mostly been here on the weekends and the servers are super friendly, remember what seats we like and drinks we order, and the food is the BOMB99% of the time. It’s a little pricey for breakfast but it’s pretty good food. Interesting special board too. Anyways if you’re thinking of skipping this place due to «bad customer service» reviews give it a go, those people might have just had bad luck. I think this place is fantastic. I did order takeout at night once, a burger with avocado. It was ready quickly however I got charged for the avocado and they forgot it. Boo. But people are human, and I’ll let it slide.

Disappointing to say the least… There were 5 of us for Mothers Day, and out of 5 dishes, 1 was pretty good and that was the biscuits and gravy. The special Coffee Pear pancakes were also pretty yummy, but only if you added the syrup and I don’t care for syrup. The eggs Benedict was almost inedible, and the hash browns were so so. The bathroom was filthy and unfortunately, I would not recommend this place.

Stopped in for breakfast on a weekday. I received great service. Ordered the Monte Cristo with fruit. The fruit didn’t have a lot of flavor. The Monte Cristo was good! They should serve additional jam on the side.

I just had the worst experience of my life at a restaurant! The service is stupidly rude! I ordered a Colibri special when I got was not that. It was a take-out order so I called when I got home and opened up my food. The manager became immediately defensive and was so rude and kept cutting me off and not letting me speak. I agree with the other posters on Unilocal, awful service absolutely awful service! This place is not cheap, to top it off there’s a huge hair and my eggs. I will never eat at this place again and I will tell everybody off Unilocal never to eat there and never waste your money on this awful place! Owners need to read these Unilocal postings and change their management!

We didn’t even make it to get our order taken. After my husband called prior to our arrival to see if they had a children’s menu, he was reluctant to go. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and never answered the question. Then when we got there she greeted us and sat us. She said she would be right back with kids menus and she left. We waited 8 minutes. No return of the server, no kids menus. We got uo and walked out. The menu looked great, but terrible service.

Food is good but service is horrible. I understand they dont split checks on Sunday but when we told them to put this amount on this card and this amount on the other card, they seem to understand but when it came out, they totally did the other way around. We told them that it was wrong, the server was so pissed! And gave us an attitude! Well, she pretended she was listening when we handed her the card and now shes mad that she had it charged wrong! It just ruined the whole dining experience and we left so frustrated and mad. Never coming back!

The ambiance was nice and the service was great. I didn’t know this place was here and I was pleasantly surprised. We got a table right away and the food was so good! If you don’t want to wait for 40+ mins to be seated this is the place.

Good run of the mill diner food. I was impressed that the menus was so large. Generally that can be bad, but not in this case. Colibri delivered with tasty BBQ ribs and my wife had the Ruben. that had 1″ slab of corned beef. It was pretty damn good. I always forget to take pictures because I’m too hungry.

Great food and wonderful customer service! I usualy go here for their delicious and suprisingly affordable breakfast, but tonight i finally got around to picking up some BBQ to bring home after work. So glad I did! The Baby Back Ribs are AMAZING! I believe it was Matt who took my order over the phone, he was super helpful and very nice about my asking him to repeat all of the options for sides over and over, lol. We will be going to dinner here more often!

I have never had a better corn beef hash and when I asked for it and the potatoes extra crispy, it was to perfection!

Another fabulous visit to Colibri! I had their wonderful artichoke, bacon & avocado omelette with tasty home fries along with their delicious strawberry jam on sourdough toast! We also had their great biscuits & gravy. Oink-Oink! Our waiter, Ivan, was fabulous as well. Very friendly & always checking to make sure we were happy with our food & refilled our iced tea when he saw our glasses were empty. Definitely will return to this restaurant soon!

Wow! They can cook you up a good-looking, tasty plate of food for breakfast. The coffee & pear pancakes had such a unique, delicious taste. Really liked the sweet, almost banana like flavor, followed by a dark chocolate finish on the palate. Recommend trying them for sure… if you’re planning on spending some dough. So here’s the deal, two coffee & pear pancakes are $ 11.99… just the two pancakes. Any maple syrup is a $ 1.75 and any eggs, sausage, potatoes etc. Is extra as well. To get around the prices recommend ordering the«Rosie’s Special» for $ 12.50 and then substitute regular pancakes for the coffee & pear. They charged us $ 2 so it comes out to around $ 14.50. For each substitution, the price comes up a dollar no matter what you want. For example, my wife asked if she could get fruit instead of potatoes. That would have been another $ 3 because she had already substituted the pancakes. Felt the atmosphere, was really comfortable, the friendly, attentive waitress & soft lighting made our stay pleasant. The pricing however felt like a hard mattress.

It might be because I had just finished a marathon, but my breakfast here was up there with the best I’ve ever had. I went with the Sonoma omelette which is just egg whites, mushrooms and avocado(I went without the cheese) as my protein source and then two hearty Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes. Unlike many whole wheat or whole grain pancakes I’ve tried, they weren’t dense or cake-like as so many of those healthier pancake alternatives are. These maintained fluffiness which is key to a good pancake, and they were superb. Great service as well, our waitress was all smiles, full of personality and took care of our every need without being over the top in our faces. I would come back to this place again and again(already thinking about coming back tomorrow morning before I head home).

Came back(I’ve become a regular) for the ribs. I’m from Kansas City. I know what ribs are supposed to taste like. This Alberto(the chef here) can hold his own with the best of Kansas City Barbecue. Meat is lean with just a touch of fat for flavor. Cooked impeccably. Sauce is good and he knows how to produce a very satisfying«crust /rub» layer on the ribs. I have ribs out here! I’m happy!

For Salad and french dip, it costs you about $ 13 to $ 16 per plate. It is kind of pricey We like the bread pudding the most from dinner tonight. Bread Pudding is kind of pricing too.

My husband had the biscuits and gravy and quite enjoyed them. He said the gravy was different than any he had before but liked it a lot. I had the Sonoma omlette– the feta and avocado was a great savory/tangy mix. It was good! The homefries are good too.

We used to really enjoy this place. And have eaten here many many times before. A long time ago, I would of given this place a 4 star(easy). But now… unfortunately the Cons have been recently out weighing the Pros. THECONS: * This place can take a very very long time for food to come out. Like waaaaay toooooo long! * We waited over an hour for eggs to come to the table. We almost walked out, until the food came. But ended up walking out anyways because we couldn’t justify paying money for burnt food that went cold by the time it got to our table. * There is one older chef back there, the owner. They really should look into hiring more chefs to support the amount of orders that are coming in. Especially on Sunday mornings. * Portions could be slightly larger THEPROS: * Large menu, almost too large to make a decision. * Everything is made fresh from scratch daily. (And that’s about it folks)

Nice folks.(The nasty bitch waitress mentioned in older Unilocal reviews is long gone). Dining rooms are adequate, if a little time worn. Breakfast Food is barely adequate. Bambie did not like her salmon egg scramble. «Reminds me of bad diner food», she said. My waffle was soggy. The combo plate portion sizes are huge. Prices are pretty low. Not Denny’s cheap, but the food is marginally better No return for me.
