We went there this morning, Sat 26th. We ordered the ultimate omelette with no peppers, Grand slam, and a side of biscuits and gravy. My omelette came with peppers, biscuits were still a little raw and the pancakes were hard. Everything was room temperature if not cold. Very disappointed and don’t plan on going back. The only saving grace was our server, Danielle, who apologized many times and took my order off the check. She was quick, kept up on us, and offered to replace my meal. Thank you Danielle.

Very bad customer service every time i come to this location. Another time i went there i got food posion. Do not go to this location its awful. Also my biscuits and gravy taste burnt and old. And while we were trying to pay are check 2 employees were just standing there and wouldn’t help us cus they were to busy chatting. Anyways if you want shity food and shity service go there and enjoy!

Denny’s has been very unpredictable in terms of customer service and it has not improved much. Had a breakfast new year day morning. Server was making her best effort, and at the same time was grumpy and was showing it. Cashier rung our check and promptly informed us that by mistake she pressed the wrong payment button, and instead of card, she punched in cash with $ 100 bill, and now she can’t cancel this transaction. Well lucky for us one of us had 100 bill, but she forgot to apply various discounts available to us. Manager started speaking to us as if we were demanding something unreasonable and the only thing he could say was there is nothing he can do. My wife who is in customer service suggested something which was easy, but should have come from management, not us. To placate our group, she suggested why not offer something from the restaurant, like a shake or something. Manager agreed and everybody went our way satisfied.

Worst Dennys experience ever our waitresses Alejandra J. was a complete mess she got our order wrong, didn’t come back to check on the meal and did her best to ignore us as we tried to flag her down for almost 10 mins till we got up and asked her to bring out the rest of our meal. The real icing on the cake was she tried to charge us extra for something we didn’t get. I would never bring my family back to this Dennys after the way were treated!

Good service but the food wasn’t so good. Ordered country fried steak skillet… which came with 2 eggs, potatoes, and fajitas. Country fried steak tasted overcooked, hard, and old. The fajitas tasted gross and looked OLD… and soggy. I’d say the best part of my plate were the potatoes –___– Disappointing! :(

The quality of the food was pretty good once it arrived, but it took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive at breakfast. People were waiting to be seated but there were a lot of tables that were empty. The waitress was cheerful and competent and seemed a bit apologetic for the extended wait for the food. It seems like there are some staffing and/or management problems at this location that need to be solved.

Let me preface this review by stating that my wife and I have been stopping by this Denny’s when we need an inexpensive bite to eat and because this Denny’s is better than the Denny’s that is closer to our home(the one near Coddingtown.) With that said, things have been going steadily downhill at this Denny’s off Santa Rosa Ave. Management seems to be non-existent. The interior could use a facelift as the ripped seats in the booths may attest. The last visit made me need to write a review, though. I ordered a turkey dinner. It came without the cranberry sauce it was advertised to have. I asked for the sauce and the waitress went to the cook who said loudly enough«I don’t have a can opener!» What? There isn’t a spare can opener in the kitchen somewhere? The kitchen comes to a stop if a can needs to be opened?! The waitress was nice enough to go open the can with a knife(been there, done that, don’t know why the lame cook couldn’t do that himself) and bring me the sauce. My wife’s meal(a chicken skillet meal) was missing bacon crumbles and the dab of sour cream that is supposed to be on top. I don’t know what is wrong with the cook, but he really needs some training(hello, management??) or they need to find one who can actually send up a meal the way the pictures of the meals in the kitchen show. Unbelievable. And no, it wasn’t busy at all. There were maybe 4 tables occupied. Something needs to be done about management(get some who cares!) and then the new management can get something done about the cook(s) — maybe get some who can actually follow what the pictures of the meals in the kitchen show.

Dennys is dennys where ever you go; however, this is the worst dennys I’ve ever been to. It’s always something. Either they’re out of everything you order or the chef won’t be in for another hour. The worst service in the entire world. I had a white waitress with dirty blonde hair and I don’t know if she was racist or just down right stupid but she wouldn’t come to the table no matter how many times I tried to call her. She never came back to take our entrée orders after we order our chicken finger app. I was with my two year old daughter who was getting cranky because it kept getting later and later. We were there for two hours trying to get the waitresses attention as she kept seating the loads and loads of people walking in. Needless to say, we left with only chicken fingers in our bellies. This establishment is a joke. Our waitress should be out of a job because she knew exactly what she was doing. She made a point of not even glancing our way.

Baddddd Service! They didnt even greet us when walking in. I know they were busy but a simply«Hi we’ll be right with you» would be better than just making eye contact then looking away. Our server didnt offer us any refills on our drinks, we had to ask another server cause our server was no where to be seen. She came to our table twice, once when ordering then to take our bill. Usually my husband and i tip pretty good, depending on the service but our server didnt derserve to be tipped. She abandoned us… ive worked at restaurants before and first things first u gotta keep ur customers happy! …p.s we didnt leave happy.

I like this Dennys alot! The staff is very friendly and have great customer service. The food was just like any other Dennys offerings but it was cooked right and our orders were correct. The food was hot and we didnt have any issues with it. 4⁄5 stars for food made right, getting our orders correct and good fast service. The building itself is an older diner style place so it could use a remodel.

FIRSTOFF the only reason this horrid place is getting one star is because there is no option for negative stars. My husband and I wanted to go our for breakfast with our 8 month old baby this morning. We wanted to go to a real breakfast place like park side, but it was too crowded. We wanted somewhere to get in and out. Anyways it was crowded but we got seated very quickly. They didn’t offer a booster or a high chair so we had to steal a dirty one from the table next to us and cleaned it ourselves. Three different people took care of us, which as a server I’m assuming means they weren’t ready for a table. After seeing all of the tables who sat down about 20 minutes after us get their food we realized it was time to go. We wasted a good hour of our day, our daughter had a meltdown, and we never got a drink refil or a ‘you guys doing okay?’ Or anything. We will never return to Denny’s again. I left money for our drinks, but we walked out and went to boudin for lunch because well, it was way past breakfast at this point. Anyways, this place didn’t even give crap that we were upset or anything. And I’m sure they will continue giving terrible service to people which is unfortunate because you wouldn’t think it would take too long to heat up some frozen pre made food…

First of all if I was the manager here I would be embarrassed. We waited to be seated and noticed that they were short staffed. But what really made us leave is that they were so understaffed orders were backed up that the cook started stacking plates of food on top of one another. I don’t know if thats sanitary or not but that was my deciding factor to leave.

We had breakfast here early on a Sunday morning. They were apparently short-staffed, but the crew did their best to keep things moving and keep everyone served. My wife even got an extra slice of French toast by accident. I left an extra tip for their extra efforts. Recommended.

We decided to come in for lunch on a Sunday as it did not seem busy. We got seated right away and it went downhill from there. The server was almost rude and did not even bring water to the table. After we ordered he brought the food out and it was missing some items. When we mentioned it he said«oh, I guess we are out of that» He should have known that before and told us so that we could order something different. I got a side salad and asked for the plain oil and vinegar. When it came to the table the bottles were almost empty and they were gross. Looked like they had not been cleaned ever. He never came back during the meal to refill the drinks or check on us. We had to flag him down to get the check. When we got to the register we mentioned all of this to him and he said«you can fill out our survey online if you like» We did just that. Have never heard from anybody with the company at all. Do not spend your money here.

Not a bad nor a great experience. Food took a little long to come but was good and correct. Our Waitress was great, tip giving. She greeted us immediately and got us on our way fast. A loud restaurant at the time we visited. Not the restaurants fault but some employees added to the noise. Clean place at the time of our visit. Denny’s in general you can’t beat the breakfast prices. Not sure if 4 Stars is accurate but 3 sounds too low.
