Great food and plenty of it. The breakfast and lunch choices are many and the ingredients are fresh. The staff is fun and helpful. They have a tiny parking lot so be prepared to park on the street.

One of the best breakfast and lunch places to eat in town. This is one of those places were it’s hard to make a choice from the menu because all are delicious.

Came here with some friends after the Hot Air Balloon Classic. There was a 20 minute wait, but for the amount of people there were I’m shocked we didn’t have to wait longer. I’m wasn’t sure if this was just a popular place or if many had come from the Classic like we had. Once inside you realize why though. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was nothing short of amazing. My friends and I were all extremely pleased with our meals and the service received. I had the corned beef hash, a favorite of mine and dare I say it was the best I’ve ever had! Kudos to the cook and staff I would come here any time I’m in the area for sure I recommend this place 100%! The breakfast is top notch!

I wanted to eat so much I would then be unable to get out the door and thus would have to eat every menu item and never leave. Planning a trip back soon!

It was my first and probably the last time eating here! I ordered their country egg Benedict it was the worst ever. The hash browns were like over cooked potatoes mushy, soggy, burnt beacon, under cooked mushrooms. Hollandaise sauce was bland. Terrible I wouldn’t recommend this particular egg Benedict perhaps their other dishes are good but I will never get to try them because, first impressions is everything:(

Decided to check out this joint since it got alot of good ratings on Unilocal and also the food pics made me start salivating with hunger. So I ordered the Sonoma duck confit and it was the bomb! The meat was soft and love how they had warm apple under the duck. If you’re in the area, check out this place. I still have to conquer the entire menu.

Your average brunch/lunch spot in the Santa Rosa area if your in the neighborhood. They serve your basic 2 egg special, omelettes, french toast, pancakes, and etc… one thing that stood out to me was the fact that they bake their own goodies such as rolls, pies, cookies here that you can buy to have with our other dishes. They decorations are old but feel very homey. Quality was okay, could be better, but I must say that their fresh squeezed orange juice was my favorite item I ordered here, it was perfect.

I had a late breakfast here today with my family before catching a flight at the Santa Rosa Airport. It was my cousins’ second visit. There were a number of items on the menu that looked good, but obviously there isn’t enough space in one person’s stomach to try them all. So I convinced them to split some heavier items with me, and then I supplemented my meal with scrambled eggs and bacon a la carte. What we ended up splitting was a giant Cinnamon Roll(made on site, I believe) and a Cinnamon Sugar«Pull Apart». The Cinnamon Roll was actually not a sweet as it looked, and since I split it with 2 other people, I didn’t feel too guilty for eating part of it. One thing I wish that they would have done was heat it up to melt the frosting. As for the Cinnamon Sugar«Pull Apart», it had a much stronger flavor. It was just like eating a Churro for breakfast– no complaints here! I was surprised when they served it because in my experience, a pastry dish described as a «Pull Apart» usually has a different shape, like Monkey Bread or something similar. The Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart is somewhat small, so again, if you split it with one or two other people, you don’t need to feel bad for ordering it. As for the service, it was not bad, but it wasn’t quick. We had to ask for refills, and get somethings ourselves, like a box for leftovers. We did wait for about 20 minutes to be seated because it was a national holiday, so more people were there, and the restaurant itself is quite small. Since we had 2 small children with us, a long wait was a bit of a challenge. I did like that it was a stand-alone«mom and pop» kind of place rather than a big chain. The food was fresh and the quality was good. Also, the location was conveniently close to the airport without being so close that you could hear planes taking off and landing.

Amazing brunch food. Not quite your typical eggs Bennie place, but delicious nonetheless! A home country style breakfast with a twist is probably the best way to describe it. The service was outstanding. The waitresses answered every question and made it fun. You get huge portions so come hungry!

SUPERFREAKINGOOD. I tried their Duck Hash special and it was amaze balls. My bf had their corn beef and hash and he loved how it didnt taste like it came from a can. The service was on point and you get to explore this small little area with lovely houses and friendly neighbors! Wish we lived closer. Nice cute spot. Outdoor seating is available.

Came in with my son about a month ago while staying in Santa Rosa for a hockey tournament. It’s not very large, and every table was full. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, which gave us time to scan the menu so we knew what we wanted right away. If you like corned beef and hash, you will love theirs. Made with real corned beef, it was totally flavorful and hearty. My boy got hot cakes which looked great, and of course he loved them! I only wish we lived closer so I could dine here more often, but it’s a bit of a trek from Alameda. ;) Service was fast and friendly, and prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend for breakfast, and next time I’m in town, I will hit them up,

I’m a loyal Dierk’s Midtown regular, but I tried their sister location as I was on that side of town. The food, as always, was amazing. I’m not sure you can go wrong there. The restaurant was really busy and we sat at the bar top. The service was interestingly lacking. It took quite a few minutes to get noticed even though the staff was buzzing back and forth in front of us. I’m sure this is an isolated incident as the management has always been so friendly and attentive to their customers. Once again, this place is amazing. Although I’ll stick to my Midtown Café, I appreciated visiting this location.

Tiny café that boasts huge flavor and comfortable«at home» style and charm! There was a line but their food is worth the wait. As a first timer I ordered the pancake breakfast which includes two eggs cooked any style and choice of bacon, sausage, or ham. I chose bacon! Plus in addition to syrup, I spread the fresh blackberry jam on my pancakes. My friend’s cheddar bacon avocado omelette, hash browns and toast looked and smelled tasty too! In fact every customer’s meal looked like spectacular, edible art!

I really like this place. I came in yesterday for my second time, and my first for breakfast. And let me tell you! I had a Fried Chicken Breast Benedict. I like, HAD to order it because I had never heard of such a thing. And am I sure glad I did! Picture this from the bottom… toasted french baguette, bacon, fried chicken, perfectly poached eggs and HOMEMADE hollandaise. It also came with fire roasted tomatoes, and hashbrowns. It was absolutely wonderful! The food takes a little longer to come out than I consider average, but I would’ve actually waited longer, because what I had was so good. Also, the prices are«up there» not too much, just a bit to where it’s noteworthy, but once again totally worth the quality this place is providing. I’m going to start coming here more.

Came here for breakfast with my aunt. Place was packed, so I figured this was where people liked to have their eggs and sausage. What a diverse breakfast menu, there are your usual staples. Then they throw out some creative menu items that after reading, make you want to dive in and try. Went with a suggestion from my aunt to try the Sonoma Vegetable Hash, $ 12.25. So delicious, what a great, smart combination of ingredients. Crispy hash browns & streamed seasonal vegetables, have both flavor and texture. You can order your eggs how you like, I chose sunny side up. Feta cheese adds some creamy saltiness and a well done pesto sauce brings it all together. This is all presented in a filling bowl and I ate every last fork full. Enjoyed eating outside in the morning, service was prompt and friendly. Looking forward to coming back.

I will be back and I will bring others! I met an old friend at around 10:30 on a Sunday. We were able to put our names down and be seated in 5 minutes. The coffee was great, I drained the cup. We were gifted a free pull apart because they’d accidentally plated an extra. We never would have ordered one so serendipity brought us this delicious gift which I will now order at each visit! The veggie hash was AMAZING. Great vegetables and pesto and goat cheese. Over potatoes?! I mean yum! I think it must have been me fawning over it, but the lady out the window was checking out my order. I hope she liked it as much as I did. Our waitress was a doll and service was good. Getting the bill and paying was quick and easy. Parking can be tricky but thankfully it’s free on the neighborhood streets if you can’t find it out front.

Ridiculously delicious! You can still go out and stay on, «the diet» at Dierk’s. EVERYTHING on the menu is fantastic and every dish I have tried, even modified to reduce carbs, is tasty. All cafes should serve food this fresh, this organic, and this made to order. I usually order the warm poached egg salad with lettuce and bacon, but leave off croutons and potatoes. It’s served in a big bowl so you can stir all the juices around and make every forkful just right. If going off aforementioned diet, the country benedict is delicious and comes with crunchy hash browned potatoes. The huevos rancheros is hearty and cheesy. The duck confit salad, and the fried chicken sandwich are winners too. I want to try the burger next time. If you are in the mood for pancakes or French toast, this is the place. It’s served with REAL maple syrup and butter, not the corn syrup imposter you find in other diners. I have been eating here for about 3 years and the menu, as well as prices have not changed. I’d call the ambience — «hipster casual». The plates are not fancy and every coffee cup is unique. They serve decent coffee but no cappuccino or anything fancy, which is more truck stop than hipster I guess. The location on Santa Rosa Blvd. is in a bit of a dicey neighborhood. Some of the houses on the side streets where you will inevitably park on a weekend, are darling. You’ll also see some unsavory characters walking or hanging out at the park down the block. There’s a hotel across the street that’s been getting remodeled for at least 2 years. Don’t let any of that cause you to avoid Dierk’s. What I’m saying is, you would not expect such a ridiculously great breakfast place to be here.
