IHOP

There are 2 IHOP restaurants in Santa Rosa, I highly recommend the 4^th St location over Fulton! It’s an extra 10 min drive for us to pass Fulton, but the food there is just thrown on the plate as if someone thinks you should eat slop.
IHOP on 4^th is consistent with great service and good care put into plating the food. I really like the Turkey Benny, but on your birthday having chocolate chip pancakes is too indulgent to pass up! Great experience today as usual. One tip, never go on free pancake day! We accidentally stopped in Awhile back not knowing it was «pancake day» and what a disaster the place was!

Lol. I don’t usually leave reviews for places like IHOP, but we surprisingly had a really good meal here. And our server was awesome. She was super sweet and fast and just lovely. :) I don’t think I’m spelling it right, but I want to say her name is Letti?

Amazing food and staff, the burger pretty nice sized. I gave it four instead of five because my dad said the eggs were a little undercooked and it took about 25 minutes to get here. My cousin and grandma loved their meals. Will come again.

First time here and last time. My corn tasted like it was a month old. Potatoes where about 3 weeks old. They went and told the cooks in Spanish I didn’t like it. They laughed. Not knowing I speak Spanish.
Told manager all they did was not charge me. Nothing to her cooks. Will never go back to this IHOP and I’ve almost been to all in North Bay. You have to give a star if I could I’d give 5 for minus. Nasty

Eaten here 5 times. Typical IHOP which means better than a Denny’s but not as good as most mom & pop breakfast /​lunch restaurants.
For way better food that is more organic and fresh tasting go down the street to Jeffrey’s Hillside café, or across the street to Hank’s Creekside or down towards town at Dierk’s Midtwon café.
Dining room here is usually packed. Beware of the back room. That’s where the families with multiple screaming, badly behaved children are seated.

I have been wanting to try IHop for many years. All my kids tell me how good it is. A couple weeks ago i was craving Crepes. It was late so i checked online to see if Ihop was open so i could finally try. As i was looking at the menu the Tri tips sounded so good. We called to see if it was too late to order since they were closing in less than 30 mins. They were so friendly, and helpful on the phone. Didn’t rush us to hurry and decide even though we were asking several questions. I even asked to substitute with no problem. We ended up ordering Tri tips, with mashed potatoes, and a fruit cup for my substitute. Peach Crepes, and strawberry stuffed french toast.
Picked it up a few mins before they closed. Very nice clean place.
The Tri tips were so juicy and sweet. I was bummed there were only a few pieces. Really good mashed potatoes.
The peach crepes were amazing, and so worth waiting a decade to try. Even the next day i heated a little and was still great.
The strawberry French toast was good but didn’t have much filling, so a bit disappointing on that. But flavor was good.
Will definitely eat here again, both dine in and take out. Thanks to the great staff for being so helpful and making a great meal right before closing. Will have to get the pic’s off old phone hopefully.

Wait was 10 minutes to be seated. Perfectly acceptable at 10:45am on a Sunday. Server came fairly promptly and place wasn’t all that busy, but then took over 30 minutes to get a simple order of one Belgian Waffle and a Smokehouse Combo. Then the Waffle was very soggy/​not crisp at all and the hash browns with the combo were barely brown. No apology from server about lateness of food or any comment about when it would be coming. Obviously we don’t go here for a gourmet meal experience, but when it’s worse than the worst Denny’s I’ve ever been in, I won’t be back. Too bad as I used to be a fan because of the «International» crepes.

Food is ok, service not so great. I asked for bbq sauce and the waiter told me they don’t have any for my onion rings lol kind of ridiculous.

I prefer this IHop to the rest in Sonoma county. Here’s why… Its clean, syrups at the table always full and not a sticky mess! Staff always friendly and fast. Always get my orders right. I can honestly say i have never been disappointed for breakfast here!

Usually you know what to expect from a chain. I’ve eaten at IHOP before and know how chains are. I’ll go once a year. But this time, though the service was outstanding, the meal had a bad egg (a film on it and it looked moldy?) So, instead of removing the egg, they just added an extra egg. You’ve got to be kidding. Ugh. Not returning.

I wish Unilocal had a way to give negative stars. We are visiting from out of town and the kids were hungry so we stopped here for a late lunch. We were the only ones here at first. We were seated and ordered our drinks. When the waitress brought our drinks, my oldest son (3 years old) started ordering and she interrupted him saying she would be right back to take the order. She showed two men to their seat, disappeared in the back then came out and took THEIR order. After she did, I waved at her (we were only a few seats away) and she walked right by ignoring me. When she finally came back to us (15 minutes later) she rolled her eyes when I told her I was unhappy with it. The eggs in my ham, egg and cheese sandwich were rubbery, resembling what you’d expect on an airline flight, and the fries that came with my kids’ meals were doused in seasoning (I posted a photo of them) which they hated. It was NOT a good experience at all. I asked to speak to the manager after we were done ordering and he didnt come over until we were finished trying to eat the «food» we got. He ended up taking care of the bill for us, but I really hope they improve things from here on out…

The food is so good! The service, not so much. They get something in our order wrong, EVERY single time. Which, honestly, really doesn’t suprise me, since half the waiters BARELY speak English. It’s very frustrating trying to order, and getring a blank look. But, since we love the food, we continue back. But not as often…

Since this place is like walking distance from where I live, and it’s the only place that is open 24 hours on the weekends I come here A lot, and when I do; I always order the pumpkin pancakes, put a little pecan syrup on it and you have sugary goodness. Every time I’ve ordered dinner it’s usually hit or miss as in not very good (I usually order the chicken fried steak, and it just tastes like it was frozen).
My family with a table of 7+ has been coming here every Sunday for years and the waitstaff is always friendly and pretty efficient

Fast and friendly service, big portion size, good breakfast food, our food came out quick, but they could start serving rice though (I love rice with my breakfast).
Would’ve been 5 stars but they forgot our utensils.

I love coming here the service is great and Martha Q., is the best!!! I always wait for a table just to be served by her. She is realllllly nice and funny. The food is okay but the service is what keeps me coming…

On January 26, 2014 I stopped at IHOP for some dinner. I had to wait a little too long at the hostess desk when I got there. I was seated at a dirty table, so I had to switch to the opposite side. I ordered a dish that included an omelet, hashbrowns, and pancakes. I was pleasantly surprised that all of that was in a meal because at Denny’s usually the side is just toast instead of two pancakes. The food was good. Breakfast food is almost always good. After I finished I had to wait a while to get the check. It’s so boring to wait, especially when alone, to get the check when all I want to do is get home. Food good, service meh.

My sister and nephew and I decided to stop in after a day in downtown Santa Rosa. I ordered the «split-​decision breakfast.» It was a good choice for me, I primarily go to IHOP for their pancakes and breakfast specials. And, I am seldom ever disappointed.
I am happy to say that this location is good. Place is very clean, service is outstanding. Friendly, attentive and the food was delicious for breakfast food. There were some new items on the menu that I thought I might try, such as the omelet melt sandwiches. But since it was my very first time to this location, I figured I would stay with what IHOP is famous for… breakfast items, especially pancakes.
The pancakes with my breakfast plate were delicious, light, fluffy and the selection of syrups were fresh and tasty. And speaking of fluffy, I asked for scrambled eggs and they were fluffy and rich. Beacon was crisp just right.
The cook surprised me with some French Toast. I think the order got mixed up. But no matter, the French Toast was good and I enjoyed it.
Coffee served that evening was a bit stale. Yet I do like the way IHOP brings a full carafe to each table. Very nice!
Prices for most entrees are moderate, but make sure you order what you know. I say this because even with an average price of $ 7.99 to 9.99, it adds up, with tip, tax, etc.
Next time I go back, I will bring a coupon with me. The Sunday paper has coupons for IHOP from time to time. And, if you can get one, that can help make a visit to IHOP even more enjoyable and a bargain meal deal.

The new check-​in feature on Droid for Unilocal now makes it so that my next review is the last place I checked in, so why not.
Went here on a Saturday morning. It was crowded but we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Our server was very attentive & super quick!
We got our food super fast (I guess I expected since it was a weekend morning that it was going to take longer.)
I ordered the Chocolate Chocolate Chip Pancakes. It was yummers!
Tried it with all four syrups they provided on the table.
1. Old-​fashioned = Yum!
2. Butter Pecan = Too sweet for me :/​
3. Blueberry = Yum!
4. Strawberry = Yum!
The Blueberry syrup with the chocolate chocolate pancake was yummers!
The only hiccup was that if it wasn’t for my cousin checking the tab (cause I never do, it’s a bad habit I have to break) we would’ve been charged for coffee when we both got water.
Other than that, my first experience at an IHOP wasn’t too bad.

My boyfriend and I have attend this IHOP quite a few times and have had great service with the young man who is the waiter at night (unfortunately I don’t know his name). He’s very nice and attentive and I’ve never once had a complaint about him.
Tonight however, we had a waitress named Sharon. I’ve never been so dissatisfied with service there before. She took our drink order but only ever brought out water, I asked for a condiment with my dinner and I’m one of those people that will only eat that entrée with a certain condiment cause I’m weird like that. But she never brought it after I asked 4 times. Then we didn’t see her for a good 30 minutes. By the time she actually brought the condiment the food was cold. Also, she never once cracked a smile. The only positive thing I can say about her was that she didn’t charge us for the drinks we never saw. Other than that I plan to get that young mans name so next time I can ask for him specifically.

Whoa, a lot of bad reviews for this place, which I guess makes sense because it’s an IHOP!
You know what to expect: previously frozen portions and bland runny eggs. But the coffee was endless and the waitress was sweet.
+1 star for bringing out the Cholula, that stuff rules and helped me wolf down those eggs.
