I love the taste of Round Table pizza but recently the service at the Occidental location will make me never return. I went to pick up a pizza before an event. I called it in at 11am on Sunday right when they opened so they said it would be 15 only minutes. I show up to pick it up about 25 minutes after that. They then said they hadn’t started it yet and it will take at least another 15 minutes(it ended up being about 25 minutes). They say they received a large order after I called in but decided to start the large order first. They realized they screwed up but didn’t offer anything to make the experience better. I ended up being very late to my event because if this. If you want pizza, go to Mountain Mikes. They’re locally owned, the pizza is great, and the service is much better.

TL;DR: Don’t go here, they’re condescending and rude. Pizza took too long(an hour!), and was gross, because one was ready before the other and sat under the heat lamp for at least 20 mins. Salad was literally thrown in the box. Employees didn’t care, check-in, or offer anything as compensation for patience for waiting as long as I did. I have been a loyal customer of Round Table Pizza for over 15 years, and had the worst experience ever as a Round Table last night. I’ve worked in the food and customer service industries on the front lines for 20 years, so I have a very high patience level, and am very empathetic to the employees, and things that can happen. But this was beyond. I ordered a pizza online at about 6:45 pm, and it said it would be delivered at 8:30. Rather than wait, I decided to call and see if we could pick it up instead, since I lived close by. They told me the pizzas would be ready in 20 minutes. I went to Round Table at 7 pm, paid, and waited for my pizza, which they said would be out soon. After 20 minutes, the pizza still wasn’t done, and I was told by the same employee that the pizza came out of the oven a little underdone, so they had to put it back in for a few more minutes, and I would be good to go. While I was waiting I overheard a conversation between another employee and a customer. The customer asked for a small diet coke, and the employee condescendingly told the employee that this location doesn’t offer free refills, so if they want one, they should pay for it now. The customer told the employee that he would be fine, and wouldn’t want a refill. The employee again told the customer, «Ok, well if you want a refill later, you’ll have to pay for it then», in the same condescending tone, as if this grown man was a child. Just before I got my order, I could hear the«no free refills» employee talking to another employee in the kitchen(which I was sitting about 40 feet away from), about my order. The«no free refills» employee asked the other employee where the other pizza was, and he said«It’s probably in the warmer, it’s been sitting there a while now. Hope it’s not gross». I finally got my pizza at 7:45, a full hour after I placed the order, and 45 minutes of waiting inside the location. No one checked on me, or let me know what was going on. There was no mention of my other pizza sitting under the warmer for at least 20 minutes, and they almost forgot my salad. They did thank me for my patience, which was running severely thin at that point. When I got home, it was clear that the salad was haphazardly made, and which pizza was left under the warmer. Let me just tell you that trying to eat a Maui Zaui pizza that is lukewarm, and has been sitting out for as long as it was is an unpleasant one. I spent $ 57 on pizza and salad at this location, and my guests and I were only able to eat half because of the shoddy service, and even poorer quality of food I received. I also missed out on almost an hour’s worth of visiting relatives that I rarely see, due to the slip up of the employees, which would have been fine, if they had checked with me, or been honest about the situation. Even offering coupons, or a discount would have helped. This incident literally and figuratively left me with a bad taste in my mouth, and I will likely not return to that location.

The food is always good here, however today the salad bar was not stocked(no croutons, bread or ranch). We ate in restaurant and on 3 separate occasions the phone rang for more than 4 minutes(we started to time them). Even though there seemed to be people working guests were left standing in line. I expected more from this location.

Ordered online for curbside pick up. Waited in the designated curbside parking space for 15 min. No one ever came out with my order. $ 50 later… Went inside-told them I was waiting and got an oh um sorry… got my pizza and salads and cinnamon stick things, however they didn’t put any of the dressing on the order in the bag, they didn’t give me the drinks I ordered and the cinnamon sticks were burnt on the bottoms. The up side-the pizza was good. No more online orders or curbside pick up at round table.

DISGUSTED by two employees sweeping and touching everything in sight ant THEN making the pizzas without washing their hands, I brought this to the managers attention. Manager promised he would take care of the situation so I watched him go talk to one of the employees who had touched the most pieces of equipement and brooms, but then he CONTINUEDTOMAKETHEFOODWITHOUTWASHINGHISHANDS! Omg I was so disgusted. I had been sitting where I could view all this during my entire waiting period. So please know that the managers don’t care about germs in your food, and the employees don’t wash their hands before or during food prep. I demanded a refund after I brought to the managers attention that that particular employee did NOT wash his hands EVENAFTER the manager spoke to him. As is usual for dive restaurants, he had the total attitude of not caring instead of genuinely being concerned about his customers health and food safety. NEVERPATRONIZINGTHISESTABLISHMENTAGAIN!!!

If you haven’t ordered tonight. Find somewhere else to get pizza. They are so unorganized in this place. The people before me had there order messed up. I paid for mine that I ordered an hour before and I was kept waiting for another 20 minutes only to be told they forgot to make the second pizza. Very dissapointed in this place. What a joke. Management should get retrained because your employees are running around in all directions with no concept of what their job is.

They have gotten our phone order WRONG all 5 times we have ordered a pizza to-go from this place! And when I ordered online to pick up at a later time they made the pizza as soon as I hit the submit button… how do I know? Because my daughter got out of her rehearsal 90 minutes early and told me she was going to RT to do her homework until the pizza was ready… I told her to tell them when she got there and maybe they could put the pie in early so she wouldn’t have to wait… to her surprise it was already done and they handed it to her immediately. That means it would have sat in the warm-up for 90 minutes… Its too bad because this is the nicest and cleanest RT in Santa Rosa but I can’t take their mistakes anymore… get your act together!

I am a huge fan of RT pizza — something about their hawaiian, maui zaui, pizza, king arthur, etc. Despite of being a regional chain pizza place, I like them. I came here to order pizzas for the main event fight saturday night. I thought it was going to be extremely business, so I called in my order before pickup. As i arrived, It wasn’t that bad. i paid for my food, and i sat down to wait. not sure how long i waited, but apparently, they called my number. i didn’t hear it. she came out to hand me the pizzas, plates, and etc. nice service. Rating: food: 4 price: 2 ambience: 4. a lot of tvs for games. service: 4 overall: 4 i would go back to this RT pizza. good service.

The guy that just took our phone order literally sound like he was talking through a cardboard tube. To makes matters worst, he was unaware what an ATM was and asked us three times if we were sure we wanted to pay in cash. Like I would trust this deeb with my credit card. Why they let the least qualified person to take phone orders on a Saturday speaks volumes toward a conclusion Roundtable would be aghast if they knew. i

We rarely eat at a large franchise chain restaurant, but eat here once a month as they host our club meeting in their back room. Their Pizza is very good for big chain Pizza. For a mass market pie, it’s quite acceptable. Their salad bar is OK too, but not gourmet. This location does have a happy hour that ends at 6 on weekdays, offers a Senior Discount, and has a variety of coupons in the local papers. Also a Unilocal checkin will get you 3 of their Twisties for free with a Pizza purchase. In summary, not our first choice for places to go, but quite acceptable and we appreciate being able to use their venue for our club meetings.

This last Sunday will be the last time I ever give this place my business. I waited at the front of the line with my boyfriend to order a pizza, just to be ignored by the two cashiers behind their registers. They were too busy joking around, and talking about what they were going to eat on their break, etc. Extremely irritating and by far the worst customer service. We even greeted THEM, just to get their attention… Still completely ignored. Unbelievable. Do you want my money, or not? A third cashier then assisted us, who was very apologetic. Apparently, one of the two individuals that ignored us earlier was a manager on duty. Hilarious! Aside from that, the restaurant was clean. Although a good majority of the employees in the back were just hanging over the salad bar, shouting, fooling around, grabbing cups and drinking out of the fountain in plain sight. They were pretty annoying. Actually, annoying would be an understatement. I almost lost it when we got our pizza, and an employee asked if we wanted cheese or peppers, and one of the other workers started chiming in for no reason — I couldn’t tell if he was mocking the employee handing us our pizza, or mocking my boyfriend, but he was a complete jack***. The lack of professionalism this location lacks is enough to make me never want to step foot in here again. Out of the 15 people working(rough estimate), about two were doing their job, one being the guy who took our order. I know, I know, it’s just Round Table — but as someone who has worked in customer service in years, who has been in management the majority of those years, if I was running a business and this is how my employees acted when I wasn’t around, I would be furious. And as a patron, I’m completely done.

$ 31 for an ex-large pizza and that’s with a coupon! Round Table’s pizza is good, but not worth the money. This location at Occidental is really bad in terms of service. Refills are extra, and they never have their pizzas delivered on time. I can call in, or order on line and they NEVER are on time. Today was my fourth visit and I waited OUTSIDE in their pick-up area for over 10 minutes. I finally called from my cell phone and it still took them AN extra 5 – 10 minutes to bring out my pizza. Needless to say, the pizza was cold and looked as if it had been squished into the box. Okay, so $ 31 for one pizza and I get it cold and squished? Nah, this is beyond ridiculous. For the same money, I and my husband could have gone to Outback for a steak dinner with salad and dessert! No more wasting my money at a place that isn’t clean and doesn’t care about service. By the way, the first time we visited this location and ate inside, I watched a bunch of unsupervised kids putting their hands on all the salad bar items. No parents and no employees supervising or watching. .. I returned my salad plate. Why do people still eat here?
