A little too«curated» for my taste. Very neat and clean, but no thrill of the hunt. Nothing to search through, nothing to really discover. It’s all there to see, cleaned and pristine. And it isn’t really packed with items. It was ok. Pricing was ok, but not great. Ok overall.

Nice and clean. Very helful volunteers. Not a great selection of clothes — but at least they were clean. I will be back.

I was looking for a thrift store on Unilocal the other day and found this place. I sort of got lost getting there, its located in Rail Road Square. I was driving the opposite direction, haha! Parking is a pain depending on when you go. The ladies in the store were friendly and sweet. They’ve got an assortment of items in the store. My goal was to find some tops and shoes. The shoes are super cheap and are priced at $ 5. I found really beautiful heels from Italy there and they fit my feet perfectly. I have small feet so shopping for heels can be a challenge. I found a simple green blouse that was half off so I purchased it for $ 3. I will be returning for sure to look for more bargain deals.

Sacks on the square uses it’s funds for hospice care. staffed by older ladies, Sacks has an refined ambience re it’s inventory of «vintage furniture», clothes, books, accessories, etc. store looks vintage like an antique store, not a thrift shop books:(soft cover, 1.25,) hardcover, 1.50 not a lot of books but some interesting ones reads: -«wired» john belushi stiry, woodward(1.5) -«the flat earth» thomas friedman*1.5) booknotes: –no sales tax charged –50% off sign at front,(furniture) –4 stars for cheapness on reads. –cash only?

Out of the thrift stores I’ve visited in Santa Rosa, Sacks is by far the cleanest, most organized and just plain-old nicest thrift store around. My favorite time visiting here was scoring an 1980s artist’s lithograph of the«Year of the Tiger» from his own limited-print Chinese Zodiac collection– still in the frame! Although there are rare treasures like that, you can always find picture frames, unframed art, lots of books, kitchenwares, and men and women’s clothes– all in good condition at very affordable prices. The shop is small, so you can look through all the sections quick enough(before your parking meter expires!)
