Ok you know a place is good when you can’t understand a word they say. LOL. Yes we went several times and everything was great. We did order online and received one dish wrong but it was great do no complaints. The crab puffs are amazing. Didn’t care for the egg rolls if you are from the North don’t get you will not like. Orange Chicken great. The pork fried rice was a awesome as well. They do serve big portions.

Amazing food! We’ve gotten delivery from them about 3 times now. Everything we have chosen has been delicious. I absolutely LOVE their pork fried rice and the Wor Won Ton Soup. Portions are huge and yummy.

So I haven’t gone to this place, and I am not going to. They don’t deliver to my area because it is too close, I think three miles is far enough for delivery especially if their delivery is free already. Also I went to order food for pick up, now I was going to order quite a bit, and the food alone costs $ 56. When I look at the total it added up to $ 106!!! Who the heck charges that much for taxes?!? Seriously, the tax shouldn’t be anywhere near that high. Tax for food in California is 7.5%, that is just insane. I am just glad that I looked again or else I would have been out an obscene amount of money. I find it funny that this is listed with a single $, that means it is around the same a McDonalds, because with the amount they charge is horrible. Wish I could give this place 0 stars.

Great food for your money. When we order from here its usually off of the lunch menu, doesn’t matter if its for lunch or dinner, they’ll still give you delicious food. I usually get the General Tso chicken. I do wish they would use the right cuts of meat for it(not just breast, but more dark meats). The lunch(or dinner) special comes with the main meal, rice or chow mein, egg roll and your choice of soup(either WonTon or Hot and Sour). The price is VERY fair. If I went to Panda Express, I’d be spending over $ 10 per meal. Here, I am saving myself a few bucks. The staff is very sweet. I’ve never had one issue with them. I’ll keep recommending this place to my friends and family!

Gave this place several times to live up to the previous restaurants quality, but no luck, the food just isn’t any good… It all just tastes the same, bland.

I have a soft spot for any place in this area that actually delivers. Some places say they will and they really don’t. This place delivers and does it right. Excellent food, portions were big, price was right, and service was timely. I am a big fan and will continue ordering here. The only downside to this restaurant was that I’m not partial to their proteins. I’ve ordered lemon chicken from them and been dissatisfied. I tried orange chicken next but it wasn’t any better. Their sweet and sour pork was alright but not spectacular. The crab stars were super yummy! And Dear Lord, please order their fried rice AND their chow mein. Just carb load like there is no tomorrow. To reiterate, I’m a fan and will be ordering here again.

We call for delivery 3 to 4 times a month & they are always kind and gracious, they have our order here on time with really good inexpensive Chinese food! The chicken fried rice, pot stickers, cashew chicken, & orange sesame chicken are our favorites. The wonton soup & Singapore noodles are also really yummy! :)

I will Start out by saying the Vegetables are fresh and crispy and the portions are huge. Cream Crab Puffs are nicely sweet and great amount of cream. These were everyone’s favorite out of everything. String bean chicken was a huge disappointment. The beans were so chewy it was difficult to eat. The broccoli beef had good flavor and veggies were so nicely cooked and lots of. Thankfully there wasn’t much beef because it was mostly fatty and even had to chew. The almond chicken had lots of great veggies but a few bites and no desire to have more. The chicken chow mein was thick and had great flavor. Would have been my favorite if it had more than a couple pieces of chicken and veggies. The orange chicken. My daughter picked this as it is her favorite at any place but sadly not here. She didn’t even finish her plate. I have never been a fan of orange chicken but this wasn’t the worst I have had. If I return it will be for the puffs and Chow mein and to try some cheap lunch specials from other reviews. The staff was very polite, even gave us some tea bags with our take out. Place was very nice and clean. This will be the first time ever we had leftovers that no one is fighting for.

Usually Come here during the hours of 11 – 3 because of the lunch specials. Huge portions for pretty cheap prices. Food is also very good.

We had lunch at this place today and the service was great and friendly. Food was delicious and fresh and price was reasonable. The lady that attended us was great especially with my 2yr old. I would definitely return!

The prawns and veggies lunch special is a good deal if you are on this side of Santa Rosa at lunch time. Prawns and veggies a-plenty in a great light sauce. The fried rice I ordered was mediocre in flavor, consistency and taste so try the chow mein instead. Their soup was ok and their egg roll was good but the sauce for the egg roll was not as thick as I usually like. Overall, I would return if I was in the neighborhood again at lunch time.

I love this little gem! I have been here twice now and both times the service has been super friendly and every single dish has been fantastic! The Hot and Sour soup is perfect! Delicious food, generous portions and great prices! A great addition to the neighbourhood!

I noticed that the owner changed from the last one since the name changed as well but I decided to give it a try today and I was not disappointed. I got the lunch special of walnut prawns to-go and it came with both chow mein and fried rice(I asked for half half) and it was plentiful! So much walnut prawns that I was able to share with 2 more people and there was an egg roll and soup as well and all were freshly cooked and not too saucy or oily. All for $ 8.99, definitely coming back!

Great lunch specials, came in and ordered my food to go. Had my food within minutes. Had the szechuan shrimp. Came with a egg roll, and hot and sour soup. Everything was tasty., and definitely filled me up. When I walked in the place was empty, around 3 ish. The two ladies who, was working at the time had great service. Very friendly, I will definitely be back, plan on bringing the family for dinner.

I got take out lunch from this place and I was dissapointed with the main dish but pleasantly surprised with everything else. I got the Szechuan Beef Lunch special, solid price and it comes with chow mein, an eggroll and hot and sour soup. Here’s the thing everything BUT the Szechuan Beef was good. The Hot and Sour soup, although not the best I’ve had, was good and the Chow Mein was moist and had good pieces of veggies in it. The egg roll was accompanied by sweet and sour sauce. Here’s why this was knocked down to a 3. The Szechuan Beef. Listen I love Szechuan Beef and I get it almost at any Chinese restaurant I go but this Szechuan Beef neither had the consistency of Szechuan Beef NOR the flavor. It tasted like a very watery stir fry with no sweet or garlicky«szechuan» flavor to it whatsover. It wasn’t bad per say but if I would have wanted a stir fry or Mongolian Beef, I would have ordered that. I had to drench my Beef with the sweet and sour sauce to get some sort of sweet/tangy kick to my beef. Overall 3 stars.

I checked this place out for lunch. No flavor on the sweet n sour chicken. The food was fresh, but wasted effort since food had no flavor. Won’t be going back. Even the soup was hideous.

I’ve gotten delivery from this place a few times, it is nice that you can order online. The first time they forgot my soup, I don’t know if I was charged for it or not and the second time the order was wrong but I let the guy know before he left and he ran down to get the right one and apologized like 20 times. Both of these times it was pouring down rain and I live upstairs so I didn’t make a fuss about it. They are always here super fast for delivery! Prices are a bit much but it seems that’s about average for chinese food in Santa Rosa now. The FOOD! I have gotten a few different things. Everything is always HOT, fresh and the veggies are always crisp. Perfect, really. The chicken is white and tender… I am pretty picky about my meat looking«suspect» and have never gotten any«suspect» meat here. Soup is always delivered hot and tasty. Egg rolls always hot and fresh, pot stickers are wonderful. Broccoli chicken is delicious, as is the kung pow chicken. Wonton soup is so good and I love the hot and sour soup! Portions are huge as well. This place is also listed as Fon Lin Chinese Restaurant, they renamed it.

It’s a shame whenever I feel to write a less than glowing review. But Sky Dragon Restaurant was taken out by a single employee! You would think that with such a cool name as «Sky Dragon» that they couldn’t loose! Well the Manager/Waiter had a scowl on his face the moment I entered the restaurant. The Mongolian Chicken was good, 3 Stars. But the Vegetable Fried Rice that came with this Lunch Special was terribly bland. I had to add a bunch of chinese hot sauce to make it appetizing. I tried to ask the Waiter about his restaurant and its history, but he seemed offended that I even wanted to talk with him. He maintained a fowl attitude my entire lunch. He seemed in a near rage whenever I looked over at him! I did find out from him that the previous Chinese Restaurant at this same location was named«Fon Lin» and that the owners of that restaurant retired. I’m giving Sky Dragon 2 Stars instead of 1 Star because the cook came out to a read a newspaper and although he didn’t speak English, he did give me a sincere smile. Also, the food is certainly worth 2 Stars. When I asked for the check the waiter was talking on his cell phone outside the restaurant and had to be flagged down by the cook. As I was leaving the restaurant the waiter said«Thank You», but it was said coldly and when I turned to say good-bye he was staring away with that same scowl on his face. Remember that movie NeverEnding Story from the mid-80’s with the white flying«Luck Dragon» named Falkor? That’s what first came to mind when I heard the name of this restaurant, Sky Dragon! Too bad Sky Dragon Restaurant has no Luck Dragon in it! Review 0130
