Terrific service (friendly and informative), high-​caliber wines with some cheese and chocolate pairings, affordable tasting fee ($ 10) with generous pours, lovely setting. Cathy is wonderful. Recommend highly.

Very nice set up. Awesome hostess. I especially liked the tannin free wine and I was surprised with how much the wines bring out the flavors of the chocolate and the cheese provided for sampling. No dry mouth or after taste. Also, gotta try the Zinfadel sparkling wine!!!

My friend and I dropped in on Cathy’s tasting room on our way to a wedding. She was great, very knowledgeable and accommodating as a wine guide and just a genuine personality. She has an easygoing manner and was accompanied by her friendly dog Knox, a Canine Companions breeder, who greeted us upon entry before we saw any of the humans.
The Sauvignon Blanc was light and smooth, and their reds are not overly bold. Cathy explained that their wines are not made to be specifically paired with certain foods, but are designed to help bring out the flavors. She then gave us samples of cheese and chocolate to test that out with specific wines.
The room itself is located in downtown so you don’t really get a vineyard experience, but the furniture is lovely and you can’t beat the service.
I would be happy to return or select their wines from a menu based on this experience. Cathy gave us the five star treatment, especially after finding out it was my friend’s birthday weekend.

At first when I walked into the tasting room I was a little concerned. It felt too corporate for me and I was worried the wines would be too esoteric. I was pleasantly surprised by Kathy one of the principle owners who was exremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wines. We were able to try many wines including their Italian collection where the Barbera D’Asti ended up being my favorite wine they offered. My boy and I are both chefs in napa valley and were unsure what to expect when we arrived. I went in expecting to just do a tasting and left with a case of wine and my boy and I pleasantly surprised and extremely happy with what was a random detour from napa to Santa Rosa. A MUST STOP IN SANTA ROSA.

We had their Sauvignon Blanc at a seafood restaurant and decided to find their tasting room the next day. What a lovely time we had with Cathy! My Mom and I learned much about their wines (and others in general), Cathy took her time with us and we just felt like we had such a personal experience there. We definitely ordered wines to ship home.
I will definitely go back when I’m in the Santa Rosa area again!

Incredible! Cathy and Knox are incredible! We came in from SoCal and headed to Santa Rosa to hit the Russian River brewery when we stumbled upon this place… an absolute must do! Cathy & Knox welcomed us with open paws, we tasted amazing wines and had amazing conversation! Highly recommend stopping by here if ur in the area!

We loved this place especially for our wonderful hostess Kathy and her side-​kick (knox). She opened various bottles, talked about the wine with love, paired it with chocolates and cheese, and shared her beautiful story with us. We loved the MERLOT (huge surprise for us as we dislike them typically) and rock pile Zinfandel. The sparking Zin is worth trying as it’s pretty unique. I love this place as it is not your traditional wine tasting room.

Class act all the way and delicious wines too! Two friends of mine come to town once a year for our traditional «Wine with Women» meeting that kicks off our holiday season. Yesterday we basically ambushed Cathy when we walked into Trecini Cellars out of the blue at the end of the day. She was so gracious to take us through a complete tasting even tho it was literally the end of her day.
She paired their delicious wines with cheese and several chocolates and I do believe we learned a lot. Cathy doesn’t know this… but after we got home we all 3 agreed that our tasting at Trecini was the best tasting we’ve ever had. This tradition has gone on for more years than we can recall (perhaps because of all the wine…) and this experience will stand out for all 3 of us as the new barre others must meet.
I do recommend making an appointment. You must ask about the Zinfandel Brut. Crazy outstanding! Cathy hasn’t seen the last of me!

Absolutely wonderful reception! These ladies do it right. I attended a bachelorette party event here and it was wonderful! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this place for group events!

My wife and I had the opportunity to recently visit Trecini.
Their tasting room differs than most. In my opinion, its much more relaxed and inviting. Cathy (and John) made our experience much more «homie». Excellent wines too!
We’ve visited dozens of wineries in the past. We now have a new FAVORITE!

Trecini is one of my favorite wineries, and John and Cathy are also two of my favorite people. True pillars of the local community. Their graciousness and generosity are second to none.
I love their wines. They have a somewhat European style to them. Their wines are well balanced and very elegant. Discerning wine drinkers can see and taste the care that goes into each wine. They are also reasonably priced.
I am glad to see that they are taking the lead in adding tasting rooms to downtown Santa Rosa. A much needed feature to downtown.
I highly recommend supporting this local artisan winery. Molto Bene!

Cathy was very welcoming and excited to share her knowledge of fine wine during our tasting session. She was happy to open anything I requested, and insisted on opening some of her personal favorites afterwards. Her dog, Knox, was very friendly as well! I’m a bit of a beer snob, but she has opened my mind to the world of wine as well! Fantastic experience.

Fantastic wines is you like more old world style, and even better people. Reservation is required and they don’t have a tasting room. But the people (specifically Cathy), wine and overall experience are memorable. Make a reservation and stop by if you have a chance. You won’t regret it.

This was my first time in Santa Rosa for wine tasting, even though I only live a little over an hour away. The tasting room and the office space are all in one room, so don’t expect a bar to lean on. Expect better! There’s a nice, large oval table with comfortable swiveling chairs to lounge in as you sip generous pours of some really yummy and reasonably priced wines. I rarely like the entire line-​up, but this time, I did. Our host, Cathy, was very knowledgable and wonderful to chat with. If you’re in the area, give them a call and set up an appointment. You will not be disappointed!
By the way… did I mention that if you have a visa signature card, you will get 25% off? So worth it!

What a treat to have quality wine tasting in downtown Santa Rosa. Reserving a tasting time was simple, I called in the morning and was able to reserve a tasting time for the afternoon for myself and my guests. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a very gracious host who was very knowledgable in wines and we were served with delicious wines. The best part is that the price point for their wines is far lower than the high quality wines we were served so we will definitely return and purchase more wines in the future. Thank you for making my visit with the in-​laws easier, I highly recommend Trecini wines for everyone who is a wine enthusiast, especially if they live in Santa Rosa.

This is more of an office but after sampling their Sauvignon Blanc at a local restaurant (Petite Syrah) we stopped there to buy. The owner couldn’t have been nicer and we got a 25% discount for using my Visa Signature card (this is a great benefit of many wineries in Sonoma).
