This is absolutely the BEST sandwich shop in Santa Fe, and I want everyone here to try it! I have really been missing a good sandwich shop here because I’m from Chicago, and lived in Florida where Firehouse was founded. I was so excited to see that Firehouse opened up here! I cannot describe to you how delicious their meatball sub is that I crave often! It’s even better than some mom n’ pop sandwich shops in Chicago! Their Hook & Ladder and Club on a Sub are mouth watering, also! When I lived in Florida for college, I got spoiled with this place and missed it so much when I moved to NM. You MUST try it! It blows Subway and Jimmy Johns outta the water! And if you like hot sauces, I love that they have a million to choose from. MMMmmmm! I’m going there again, NOW! So should YOU!

My experience at FireHouse Subs was superb! Right when I walked in the counter person greeted me with a cheerful smile. He had such a great personality and he made my ordering experience outstanding. I ordered a tuna sub on white bread and the only problem I encountered was sandwich overflow! I can’t express how satisfied I was with my experience here, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good sandwich/sub. FireHouse also has lighter options like wheat bread and salads, and subs under 500 calories, and of course kid’s menu options. There is truly something for everybody here. Bonus points to FireHouse because they have the Coke customizable drink machine

A great atmosphere, everyone who works there is really nice, and the food is delicious. Not much else to say other than it IS a little over priced. Their drink machine is cool though.

I went back — reluctantly — a second time, about a month later. Ordered a different sub. Good grief: I swear I could not tell the difference. Same bland mash of meat, dressing, bread. This kinda confirms my theory that Santa Fe simply doesn’t understand what a submarine sandwich is, or what it is supposed to taste like. Whatever Firehouse’s molecular substances are that Firehouse claims are meats, they’re not. And the way they fetch them in these big wet steaming slops out of this row of cookers makes me think, overcooked thin slices of shoe leather. It also confirms that Subway really is tastier. I won’t be going back to Firehouse. I gave them two chances, they blew both, AND their food is extremely expensive.

First impressions– clean. It’s a newly remodeled store and just opened location. I had the firehouse salad with chicken. The lettuce was fresh. Others in my group had subs and said they enjoyed them. Runs about $ 10/person with drink.

Alright so the lame reviews I’ve seen so far don’t justify this place 1. It’s going to be busy because it’s new to town so everybody wants some 2. It’s a little more expensive because it’s better quality meats then the mass produced processed crap you get at subway, let me start with my experience We’ve tried firehouse here twice now and I have to say that you get a real bang for your buck. The customer service is great for one, we had kyle as our last person and he was very kind and polite. The sandwich(italian) was pretty good, and we got 2 large subs with combos that filled us up for lunch and dinner for $ 20… you only save 2 dollars to go to subway to eat there versions of these subs, and you spend your money with a company whose going to use it positively.
