Excellent Peruvian like home made food. Yummy! I come in on Sundays and every dish is a delicious try. Love the Lomo Saltado. A friendly environment and served by owners which make everyone feel unique. Thumbs up Marjorie and Eder

Home made salsas, queso fresco, quality simmered meats. My wife stopped in for a quick bite while in Santee while looking for some sandwiches. We switched our order once we saw that they had they had these other items not normally found in a deli. Apparently they serve Mexican and Peruvian food here in addition to deli foods. Wife had a birria(goat) torta and I had a carne asada torta. We both loved the fresh ingredients and quality prepared meat. What a pleasant surprise. Staff is super friendly and looks to be a little family running it. Perfect little deli that could certainly be a restaurant if they wanted. 5 stars.

I got a chicken ceasar wrap. I ordered it online with a pick up time about ½ later. Not only was it ready, but it was also still warm and fresh. Not too much dressing which was perfect. I will definitely be going back to this place. Especially since it is so close to my office

Took my boss for lunch. The menu is simple and the prices are competitive, however there wasn’t anything special to cling onto. The food and service were fine for a business park deli. I’ll come back again.

My husband works about 1 minute away from the deli & has lunch here several times a week. He was always saying how good the Shrimp California Burrito is so I had to see for myself. I live in Chula Vista & drove all the way to Santee to have lunch with him & check this place out. We both had the Shrimp Cali, my mother in law had the Chicken Ceasar Salad & my kids had the chicken quesadilla. Let me tell you ALL the food looked delicious, BUT I would definitely drive to Santee just for that Shrimp Cali, the shrimp was so tender & juicy, not dry or over cooked, also very big pieces of shrimp & the salsa they have is like a creamy avocado salsa that has just the right amount of spice! Excellent food, can’t wait to go back and try something else. The ladies that work there are also very nice & the place is very clean! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

I really love it when I come across these out of the way places, located off the beaten path in a area one would never think to look. Located in a industrial and commercial complex, this little place owned by a good natured Peruvian lady, is making some fine breakfast and lunch eats. Case in point, I came by between that hours of breakfast and lunch, teetering between both, I heard the owner mention she had freshly made Peruvian Birria and that was all it took. You could have it several ways, including in a bowl, a burrito, a torta, or a taco, but I went for the burrito for only $ 5.99. The burrito came filled with a lot of great stuff, including that all so tender and juicy birria, but it also came with Peruvian white rice, whole beans, freshly sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, and a sauce. The birria was a little different from the Mexican variety in that it was not served in a deep red chili sauce, but it was quite good. It had a lighter sauce, mostly comprised of the beef natural juices. The white rice was well prepared and nicely seasoned. I liked that the rice kernels were loose ad tender to the touch. I don’t think the beans were Peruvian, but pintos. Nevertheless they were very good and tender throughout. The amount of cilantro was just right, just the with its slight bitterness and citrus flavor. I ate the birria burrito with the house salsa, and let me tell you, that salsa packed some flavor and heat! There was not messing around when they made this salsa. Great stuff. The food that is prepared here is great and the service that accompanies it is super as well. The individual who work and live nearby are quite lucky indeed.

An aptly named deli. Excellent Peruvian, very similar to Mexican, food. I am most pleased by the perfectly toasted burritos. A great little store that will remind you why you love California burritos.

I have yet to try many of her deli-style offerings, but the quality and flavor of their Peruvian food is outstanding! I Unilocal*offered 6-stars, they would EASILY earn such a rating. By Farm, BEST ceviche in San Diego county(I’ve tried them all over the past 18 years) as well as Peruvian specialties. Not all Peruvian menu items are available every day, best to call day before to arrange for these — well worth the wait — If you’re a fan of Peruvian food, they now open every Sundays for Peruvian-only menu

I usually order either a breakfast croissant or a BLT, and I like them both. Very tasty food, and the service is great and friendly.

Stopped by this little deli place to get some breakfast on my way to work. The place is very clean and the food is fresh. I was welcomed by the owner– Margie, she is a very nice lady. I ordered a breakfast burrito, which was pretty good and I will definitely be back.
