Great restaurant with a lot of great options for celiacs or otherwise gluten averse. Gluten free fried fish was delicious. Steak fries(cooked in a dedicated gluten free fryer as well). Lots of non-gluten free options as well. Highly recommend.

What a great find. Had travel plans to Ft. Lauderdale. But, had taken lots of road trips. And, still getting settled with a move. We decided to not leave our area for The Holiday. Called Beckhams, hoping that they did a Traditional Holiday meal. Well, they did and they take Reservations. That worked out Great. Annie, The Owner. Came to our table and talked to us. She is a warm hearted, caring person. Very committed to her creation of serving and creating Gluten Free, high quality and Best of all DELICIOUSVERYAUTHENTIC recipes. That are Amazingly undistinguishable from the, let’s call it «Gluten Stuff I Had» been consuming. Before, my Dr. said No More. There’s more:-) They also Served The Traditional meal and The same was available Gluten Free and Included DESSERT. WOW! The Forces Were With Me(lol). The Owner and her Staff Are Fantastic. The Food was Unbelievably Good! My Only regret is its taken me to long to post my Review. Better Stay On my Toes. Thank You. Beckhams

Excellent destination for those seeking: a) well-prepared no-frills English pub-style food served in comfortable surroundings, b) a well stocked bar that makes lingering worth the time, c) attentive and cordial service and, d) fair tabs. Add to that a bearable noise level and you have an attractive place to go with friends and hold conversations without pushing the decibels. While the clientele tends towards the gray(if at all) hair the atmosphere is far from stuffy or depressive; there’s a nice, unhurried vibe going, whether at the bar, or the indoor and/or outdoor tables. Our favorite dishes: fish & chips, sautéed salmon, the cottage pie, the burgers and the definitely-not-British baby back ribs. Plus the excellent mixed drinks and beers dispensed at very reasonable prices during happy hour.

My girl friend and I eat here often, my girlfriend has Celiac and Beckhams has a great gluten free menu, Annie the force behind the great menu is often on the premises. I have eaten everything on the menu, both gluten free and regular and have not been disappointed.

Food was exceptionally prepared. Enjoyed the Philly steak and was pleased with the wholesome ingredients used. The price was a little high but the quality was worth the cost. Also, the staff was very accommodating! Would recommend to all visiting the area!

Best gluten free in Sarasota! I get to have all the nun nums here that I can’t have anywhere else! The service is fantastic and they are very attentive to answering all your questions about ingredients. The atmosphere is nothing special– it’s a renovated space that’s nicely kept but not particularly stylish. I don’t care! I get to indulge in the the occasional burger here and not feel awful the next day. Independently owned and super friendly.

We tried this restaurant based on it having a 4-stars Unilocal review average. My personal rating would be 3-stars. Looking at the menu selection and the clientele(mostly caucasian senior citizens), this restaurant felt like dining on a cruise ship. I love cruises, but there are also negatives to cruise ship dining. The good: –Generous portions of food. I was pretty impressed by the size of their nachos appetizer, and it’s nice that all entrees come with salad. –Reasonable prices made even better by their early bird special which knocks 20% off the price of entrée items. –Our waiter was friendly and got all the orders correct. –Clean interior. –Easy parking. The not so good: –The food is more on the bland side. People on a heart healthy diet may appreciate this, but I am not on a heart healthy diet. –While their bread is good, the bread basket comes with less pieces of bread than there are people at the table. –The steak came out overcooked. I ordered medium rare and got medium well. My father in law ordered medium and got well done. If I was visiting Siesta Key for a whole month, I’d still include this restaurant on my rotation of restaurants for the sake of variety. But if I’m only here for a week, there are other restaurants I’d rather go to.

We came to Beckham’s for lunch and got nachos, Caesar salad, 2 grilled chicken sandwiches, and a Texas burger. It was empty when we went in but it was good food and good service. Caesar had too much dressing, but the fries were nice and crispy and the nachos were solid. Would go back, but definitely on the average side.

Called in on a Saturday evening with my British friend, he suggested the fish n’chips — really great, he explained that the fish should just be lightly battered, thereby what you buy is truly fish and not more batter than fish — Beckham’s Fish n’Chips were one of the best he’s tasted in Florida — Atlantic Cod with more fish than batter.

I’ve been eating at Beckham’s since they opened and it has been consistently good. They have everything from sandwiches/burgers, fish and chips, to lamb chops. They even have a gluten free menu. Might be the best fish and chips in town. Highly recommend if you are looking for a casual, local eatery with a lot of choices on the menu.

What’s fantastic gem, just wish the location was easier to get to. Had the fish sandwich, which was good, but just a tad dry. Overall a lovely place, just needs a better entrance.

No Early Bird even though it is advertised on the menu 4 – 6 pm, 20% entrees. Server tells us that no more Early Bird. And Happy Hour is only on house wines. That’s it! Deceiving approach. Place is really dark inside and staff is scattered. Food was cold and tasted bland.

Well, don’t get the tilapia. I had it tonight and can’t leave the bathroom. Right away it tasted off. I only had three bites and they were all awful. I told our server and she told the manager. They charged us for a salad and side bc I ate the veggies, which were very good. We should have picked someplace else bc it was pretty dead while a lot of the other places were busy. But we wanted to get in and out quickly. Oh well.

Absolutely delicious British pub grub — and vast numbers of gluten-free choices for celiacs. The gluten-free fish and chips and chocolate pudding dessert were fabulous. Highly recommended, whether you are gluten-free or not.

We went here for my husband’s birthday, and we were very impressed with the extensive gluten-free menu. Many places only offer salads and bunless burgers, but this place had everything from fish ‘n chips to desserts. I believe the owner is celiac, so she has gone to great lengths to eliminate contamination. There is a separate kitchen area for gluten-free food preparation, including a separate fryer(a.k.a. gluten-free french fries, finally!), and the staff is very knowledgable on the subject, which is a relief. We started with the seared sesame tuna, which was wonderful. I had the gluten-free fish ‘n chips(fish is battered in gluten free beer & flour) with mushy peas(the peas are the best part, sort of like mashed potatoes but made with peas), and my husband had a cream cheese-stuffed burger. We loved both. Because it was his birthday, they brought us a complimentary gluten-free chocolate lava cake. The cake was pretty good — a little gummy and not much melted chocolate on the inside, but I’m not going to complain or remove a star as it was free, and still better than most GF desserts we find at restaurants. Wine was great, atmosphere is cozy, food is safe to eat and yummy. I think I’ve found my new gluten-free go-to restaurant!

This was my first time here since it changed from the Manhattan Grill. The burgers were slightly pricey and I know there are places that are better and cheaper, so that was a little let down. Not much different than any other burger, three square, etc. Nachos were very good though! However, the soup of the day of tomato chicken rice was amazing. I wish I just got 2 bowls of that. If I got just that I would have gave another star, but the rest was so so. Wish they had more of that!!! YUM! Service was VERY good and VERY friendly. I would go back for local bar grill type of meal and maybe try some other things. Everybody in our party was happy with the meal overall! And keep in mind my rating is very critical. 5 stars only go to my favorite of all restaurants and 4 stars to restaurants I really like and frequent more often.
