We stayed here for a weekend and it was clean, quite and nice but not fancy. The beach is like a 3 minute walk away and it’s practically on the beach and doesnt cost a fortune. The high rise condos on the beach are literally right behind this place. I was sitting in front of our room drinking OJ while the girl in the condo on the beach was sitting on her balcony drinking coffee. She probably paid a $ 1,000 a night(I looked online at prices for that place) and we paid $ 350 after tax for 2 days and we were so close we could see each other. When we were on the beach, they have chairs and umbrellas for you to rent or you can bring your own since the walk is so short. We were close enough to the beach that we walked back every time we had to go to the bathroom. We drank on the beach with no problem(we were being discreet though). It was pretty crowded but its summer and the most popular beach in America so I guess thats why. It’s within walking distance of several restaurants, gas stations and anything you may need but it’s on a private drive with a whole bunch of other hotels(like 10 other hotels) and all the hotels are, at the most, a 5 minute walk from the beach. It felt very mom and pop and homey. We needed a screwdriver for something and they told us how to go back in their shed area to borrow theirs. We checked out late and they didnt mind. The whole place was booked and everyone was really quiet. It’s pretty small — maybe like 10 rooms. It has a flat screen, fridge, microwave, stove, pots and pans and leftover snacks and drinks from previous guests. It was technically a 2 bedroom since it had a queen bed and a wall blocking the queen from seeing the twin bed next to the entrance. So if you wanted to bring like 3 girlfriends and split a room, that would be a nice deal. You get clean towels whenever you ask and they clean your room when you are at the beach. Good deal, nice people and we will be back.
