I have been going to Flatbreads on Main Street since it opened. We enjoyed it every time staff and Brian always made you welcome
The pizza was fresh, good selection on lunch specials, and friendly service.
Recently Flatbreads was closed for renovations and staff training. This was strange since has not been open that long.
Last week we went to Flatbreads for lunch nothing was the same.
First the quality has gone down, the price has increased, the lunch slice selection is one or two choices, the slices was burnt and all the friendly staff and Brian are gone.
Flatbreads has lost more than staff it has lost a good product.
Not worth a visit, with many other better choices on Main Street.

Poor customer services, terrible food. Owner not friendly, not customer services oriented. Very slow service. Unable to keep tables cleaned. Burned pizza, very tough crust. The real test: the kids disliked it.

Not overly impressed by this place. New restaurant in downtown Sarasota on main street. The service was okay, the restaurant looks clean, and the food is okay. Prices are a little high for pizza, and there really isn’t a large selection on the menu other than just pizza and salad. not an ideal place for a business lunch. I’m not sure that I would return. There are better options for restaurants in downtown Sarasota that also serves pizza, and in my opinion, a better slice of pizza.

Although they only opened a month ago, we experienced a five star experience. The fresh, homemade pizza was the best I have eaten in Sarasota, and ALL the ingredients were fresh or homemade. The handmade tables and bar were spectacular (we know this because we asked– you can see the workmanship). The staff was courteous, fun and helpful as we bickered with each other deciding on a pizza. And to cap the evening off an amazing ice cream sandwich which fed three of us and I may get as a meal next time. I would highly recommend you give this little gem a try– it is well worth the trip!!! Nice job guys!

I have only been to about eight pizza places in Sarasota so far and this place is the best so far. I have been to what people have said was the best only to be disappointed. This place is one place I will go back to often. The owner has put a lot into perfecting his pizza, the crust is just right and ingredients he uses are first rate. This is a place I would recommend.

My new favorite pizza on Main Street! Flatbread has by far the best crust of any pizza place downtown. The ingredients are very fresh. We ordered the #5 (Italian sausage, vidalia onion and herbed ricotta). It was delicious! They don’t have a huge beer selection, but they did have a couple Cigar City beers on tap. We’ll definitely be back!
