Had issue after issue after issue with them all caused by lack of communication in pop yachts. In the end it cost me over 30k out of my pocket due to there incompetence and screw up. They gave me a invalid bill of sale and I had to fight tooth and nail to get a new one. They promised marina I would pay for services I was told seller was paying for. My boat almost had a lien put on it from marina due to pop yachts giving conflicting information to each party. I was promised a refund from pop yachts but have yet to receive it almost a year later. They are full of empty promises. Great concept but horribly executed and run by idiots who think they are executives. They are a disgrace to a fellow business owner and executives like my self.

Sending spam emails about my boat listed on craigslist that specifically says not to contact me about unsolicited services.

To: CEO David Perkins Dishonest leaders breed dishonest employees. He says he’s a veteran but did not act like one. He showed a lack of respect and treated a fellow vet like dirt. I dealt directly with David he was helpful for a 2 – 3 days and then with out cause he refused all calls and did not respond to any emails. He has not offered any resolution. I have forwarded the case to the Dept of Boating and Waterways I would not recommend these guys, look to a local broker not these jokers. I made a 40k$ mistake don’t do the same.

These guys come on nice and strong and everyone is so happy to try to help you until you actually need help. These folks dont really do much except advertise the vessel for you… really, you’re paying a premium for someone doing the legwork you can do on your own for less and once you take their commission off the price, you could probably sell it quicker. It took months and months and nearly 5k in reductions before finally getting a buyer. The first person that was supposed to be my «coordinator» vanished after taking pictures and my inital posting was delayed. The new coordinator was only a point of contact for dropping the price and then meeting on the day of close to go on the water trial with the buyer. The closing coordinator was difficult to work with, their requirements to close plenty and they are quick to remind you that you’re under contract if you dont have all your ducks in a row whenever they are ready to move. You will get lots of emails from«managers» and«directors» saying they will follow up with you about your experiences in all parts of the process but you never hear anything from anyone.
