Today was my first time to eat at Tony’s and it was a great experience! There were so many options to choose from. You could order pizza by the slice as well as whole pies. They also have a full menu to order from as well. I ordered the Stuffed Crust Pizza and loved it. The crust was thin so it didn’t over power the meat and cheese inside. It was filled with Italian meats as well as ricotta and mozzarella cheese. They gave me a side of sauce as well. It was almost like a stromboli. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, welcoming and clean. I will be bringing my family back!

We’ve been several times and never had a bad meal ever! The buffalo calamari is one of my favorites. The pizza is delish, the subs are great and the desserts are tasty. The staff is happy and wonderful. Being able to buy by the slice is great too!!! Call now and order!!!

Great pizza. I love the thin and my family loves the thick. If you are looking for pizza in the Sarver area, this is the place to go. No delivery is downer and I wish they would sell the thick crust in a size other than single slices or 16 cut. 16 cut thick is a lot of pizza and as I mentioned earlier, my family is split between thick and thin.

Ordered a pizza, was told it would be 15 minutes. My father waited a half hour when arrived because the pizza was not ready. He noticed the box wasn’t piping hot(as you’d think it would be at that point) but didn’t say anything. He brings it home and we got the«pleasure» of eating what tasted like 3 day old reheated pizza. The cheese was not gooey, the crust was chewy, overall it was terrible.

Little placed tucked in to that strip mall beside Southpike theaters. This time out just tried two different slices of their pre-made pizza. Both slices on that day were well cooked but a little dry. I had pepperoni, bacon and sweet pepper. Would have liked it better with a little less bacon, it overpowered everything on the slice, however from what I could tell the other flavors were good. My wife ordered spinach and add mushroom. When it came to the table they forgot that last part. Sauce and crust have good flavor. Will definitely have to try this place again to get a good read so the stars are middle of the road for me and an extra one for being one of the few places that offers«by the slice» pizza. Is this place affiliated in someway with J&S up in the heights?

With a variety of gourmet pizza by the slice we didn’t bother ordering anything else but we did have 4 different enormous very well made slices and I can absolutely say this is in the top three pizzas in Butler and Armstrong County.

Tony’s Café is so friendly & is truly Authentic Italian owned. The food is so good everything is home made. It’s worth the drive to Sarver. Plus you can bring a Nice bottle of wine with dinner because it’s BYOB.

WHAT A GREATPLACE!!! Thank you Lord, no more horrible Butler County crust to deal with! This place has perfect crust… crunchy, yet chewy. Excellent NY style and Sicilian. Great group of employees. Wonderful food! Don’t know what Tony’s reviewer Fran G visited… apparently not familiar with casual Italian. So happy to have them in my area… just bad for the waistline!

No attention to detail. My family and I decided to try this place the other night, walked in and got a table. The first thing we saw when walking in were a bunch of pizzas under glass that looked waxy and unappealing. They looked like they’d been sitting there all afternoon, which didn’t seem to bode well for our experience. I understand the intent to offer by-the-slice purchases, but I’m not sure that is the way to do it. At the table, the waitress came over and didn’t really sell the place very much. She didn’t seem to want to be there. We ordered an appetizer of mac-and-cheese bites, which were obviously Kraft Mac N’ Cheese, but seemed to be fried alright. We got a couple flimsy paper plates and no napkins for this, however. When our drinks came, the cups were those old-school wax lined cups and two had no lids. Mine was iced tea with no ice. The silverware was all inexplicably wrapped in little plastic baggies, which just felt odd, especially considering we had no napkins. After asking for napkins sometime later, they gave us a few flimsy ones that didn’t remotely handle the grease on the pizza we ended up getting. 10 – 15 minutes later our pizza arrived. We’d ordered a large NY style with pepperoni, mushrooms and olives. From what little I know of the NY experience, this seemed to be consistent at least with the size of the slices. The crust and the sauce were pretty good until I nearly broke my tooth on a pit from the calamata olives they put on the pizza. That was the first of three, by the way. I really don’t know why they put those olives on there, because they were way too salty for the pizza and really ruined what was actually pretty decent otherwise. So, the food is OK and if I were served this pizza(even with the olives and no pits) at the place next door, I probably would have given it a pass, but the experience was consistently hurt by the lack of attention that was put into everything. It made me wonder how many other things were being ignored there. It is too bad, I liked the concept of a place like this in Sarver.

This was my second time ordering from Tony’s Café Italian Eatery. The pizza is great! Fresh crust, sauce is good. Premium toppings. Normal pizza is priced pretty well, some of their gourmet pizzas like BBQ chicken and chicken bacon ranch are a little pricey at 24.99. Therefore haven’t tried them. This time I got a Stromboli with meatballs. Pretty good, same delicious crust, the sauce that came with it though… tasted like it came from a spaghetti –o’s can. It’s NOT the same as the pizza. They have lots of pasta dishes, hoagies appetizers, soups and salads. Full menu! Lunch specials. You can also get pizza by the slice which I like. They have lots of pizza topping combinations I would like to try before resigning to buying an entire pizza. Space inside is new and clean, lots of room to sit down. They don’t deliver yet, but it appears they cater and will deliver for that purpose. PS, pizza reheats well the next day ;) I will be back!

Tony’s Pizza Café is tucked away behind Get Go off Rt. 356 and definitely worth the stop! I’ve only ordered pizza by the slice here, but each time it the food has been excellent. As you enter, you place your order at the counter. They have a huge selection of delicious pizzas to choose from. The pizzas are pre-made and they heat them up in the oven. After several stops in, I can honestly say that I’ve never had a slice that seemed like it had sat there all day. The crust is crispy and fresh tasting, and the toppings are as near to «fresh-out-the-oven» as I can tell. And the slices are huge! It really is a great place to stop for a slice or two of fantastic pizza. Fast, friendly, clean, and delicious!
