I went there today I walked in and nobody came over to greet me wow how unprofessional staff. So I left but 5 minutes later I went back in and the same thing happen until some greet it me. Ok I got a wash and cut plus style lol wow some awful style for sure I was so upset with the finish product I will not go back because all she did the stylist was add some hair product and use the diffuser on me and she charge me for styling wow. I have learn my lesson. Not to go to Bella sorella.

Salon Bella Sorella was recommended by a friend who’s hair always looks perfect, like it was just cut. She specifically recommended Jerry, who was fantastic. He took the time to discuss exactly what type of cut I was looking for and was very thorough, making sure everything was even along the way. I absolutely love my hair :) I will definitely be back!

I drove from Revere just to get a fade from them. When my hair grows, the haircut looks even better. I had to book an appointment and wait a couple of days, because they were so busy. They were definitely worth the wait! The people in there are laid back, extra friendly and just keep it «real.» I can dig that.

I just moved to the Saugus area in November and I have been petrified to trust anyone new with my hair. I’m very picky and hard to please. After a mix of reading good reviews and not being able to wait any longer, I decided to try Salon Bella Sorella. I called and was able to book a same-day appointment for 6pm with the owner/most reputable stylist Danielle. Right off the bat that was nice because it’s usually hard to get a same day appointment with a talented stylist. I put the address in my GPS and realized when I got there that I didn’t even need to. The location is very easily accessible in a quaint little plaza right off route 1 next to the mall. So I got there 10min early as I try to always do and was promptly greeted by the friendly and polite receptionist and offered refreshments while I waited. The salon was very nice looking and had good energy. At 6:05-sih Danielle came over and introduced herself to me and told me that she was running a bit behind. This did not bother me, because they did after all squeeze me in for a same day appt. I read magazines and occasionally overheard the very friendly conversations going on between the clients and stylists, which was a great sign. So at about 6:15/6:20 Danielle was ready for me. She sat me down and I explained to her what I wanted. We discussed it thoroughly. She covered all the bases and really took the time to listen to what I wanted. We came up with a game plan and started at about 6:35. She did a light soap-cap on my ends, partial foil, and partial color, then a toner, trim, and blow dry. Danielle’s demeanor was very pleasant and she was confident and clearly experienced in what she was doing. By 845 it was all done and it looked perfect. Exactly what I wanted. She got the over-all color to match my natural roots and put in some very well placed highlights for dimension with the perfect shade. She only took as little off my hair as possible for the trim which was veryyy important to me as I am growing my hair out. The total price was $ 120 after a 10% first timers discount. Not bad. Now what was the complaint you ask? Well, i’m getting to that. They had the new«feather extensions» available at the salon. If you don’t know what a feather extension is then you can google it. They’re cute and a great alternative to adding streaks of color for an edgy look because you don’t have to go through the time and damage of bleaching and dying strips of your hair. Anyways, I decided to have 4 «bundles» put in. I’m not quite sure why there should be any difference between«bundles» and«single feathers» other than the name because all it takes is a dab of adhesive and a rolling of the feather tips between one’s fingers to turn single feathers into a bundle. There certainly shouldn’t be a difference in price. And the price of these feather extensions, whether they be «bundles» or «singles» should be no more than $ 5 to $ 10 per extension TOPS. These extensions aren’t like regular extensions. They are feathers which are ridiculously cheap, they are easy to make, easy to apply, and only last a month at the most. I know a girl who charges $ 3DOLLARS per extension. At no point was the price of these feather extensions mentioned except for when I got to the register and was horrified to hear that I owed ONEHUNDREDDOLLARS for my 4 extensions. That’s TWENTYFIVEDOLLARS per bundle! Ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous! It’s a good thing I happened to have an extra hundred on me or else I would’ve been sh*t out of luck. Now here’s where my fear of awkward situations really works against me. I should’ve spoke my mind and either asked for a more reasonable price or had them removed, but to avoid the awkwardness and because the salon was closing and I was in a bit of a rush, I just paid the money and left. I’m really disappointed to see them charging that much for the feathers. To be quite honest, I have not done research yet on how much they normally go for**, but what I stated previously still stands. The product itself is cheap and the application process is easy and quick, therefore the cost of the service should reflect that. Hence my girlfriend only charging $ 3 per extension. I would hope that most people realize this and refuse to pay exorbitant prices for them. With that said, if it weren’t for the feather incident then I would’ve been entirely pleased and I definitely will be going back to Danielle. Over-all I had a good experience and i’m very happy to have found my new salon/stylist. **After doing a bit of research I found that many companies who provide these feathers charge WAYTOOMUCH for them and that’s probably why the salon had to charge so much. I still think it’s ridiculous though and plan on finding them at much better prices. Anyone with a website and a little bit of initiative could easily offer these feathers at a much cheaper price and therefore blow all the other distributors out of the water. Good short term business idea for anyone to bank on!
