HVAC repair isn’t cheap, but the rating isn’t all about price.
I woke up this morning approx 8:45: AC broke
Called around, Byrd’s was the only one that answered: 9:15
Repair man showed up approx: 09:45
10:15 I was writing him a check.
$ 99 for diagnostic
$ 183 for blown capacitor
$ 30 for cooling down compressor
$ 313 bucks for having AC on a Saturday morning in Savannah. Not cheap, but out of all the other HVAC repairs in Savannah, they were listed last on Unilocal,but first to pick up the phone.

Exceptional service! Came out to the house in a flash. The office staff is very knowledgeable, the lady I spoke with was friendly and troubleshooted the problem. The technician pulled up at my house. Introduced himself as Sam. He did a brief inspection of the thermostat. And proceeded to the unit outside. He was outside for about a 20 mins came back and told me what the deal was. In an hour we where cooling off! Before he left I asked him how long he had been with the company and he stated 22 years. I have dealt with all of the big name companies in savannah. And I must say Byrd heating and air conditioning is the best. From the initial call to the to the tech leaving was a great experience. Thank you Byrd heating and air conditioning. For being the best experience we r have had. We have found our permanent ac company.
