Nice staff but lacking maintenance. The staff was nice but the room was lacking a bit. There was pencil writing on the wall by the front door, pubic hair in the sink and damaged ceiling in several area in the bathroom. Finding these things makes you wonder how clean the room really is. Had we not been so tired we would have gone somewhere else. Not what you would expect from this brand. Find another place.

Okay for a cheap stay, room was spacious, bed comfortable and clean. The real issue was that the tub would fill up with water when I showered. It was gross. I called the front desk and was told there wasn’t a maintenance person working until morning(I would have already checked out). I was told there was nothing they could do as far as moving me to another room because the hotel was booked with bus loads of tourists, who would be arriving later. There were a total of maybe six cars in the parking lot when I checked in and at 8:30 when I checked out there were even less. Hmmm. Also, a sticky, red substance on bathroom light switches and food crusted on the outside of the microwave. Other than those few issues, I felt comfortable and safe, would recommend for a night of passing through.

The hotel was dirty, the rooms smelled, the vending machines were out of water, the wi-fi didn’t work, I heard another guest complain about roaches but what really upset me was being lied to by the staff(then the staff lying to their management). Here’s the whole story…

Traveling to Florida going our usual route we decided to stay at the Country Inn again. Last time we stayed it was clean and perfect for the night. We reserved our room with 2 queens. When we checked in and after my credit card was ran the front desk clerk told us they do not have the room we reserved. She said they only had a king suite that had a pull out bed. At 1am we have no desire to do anything but go to sleep. Now, we are preparing a pull out bed. Unbelievable. To add the room also smells of mold and is for the handicapped. The toilet seat is broken and the room looks like it was not cleaned. I am furious. Getting no sleep tonight thanks to this dump. We will never stay again and will not recommend this place to anyone!

Lobby clean night staff at desk pleasant, accommodating and very apologetic. The first room we where given was infested with German Roaches we only saw 2 small ones but YIKES that’s 2 too many and it smelled like a wet gym locker. We were tired and had to get off Interstate 95. We are not use to did kind of experience. So heads up and check your room carefully because no one else here is doing they’re job.

The indoor pool is what got this place 2 stars. The staff was fine but the room looks run down and poor maintenance. The beds were ok. It was cheap, had a indoor pool and free breakfast. I got it for 90 dollars a night, and would have been upset if I paid more. That’s the highlights.

Prefer to put ZERO stars for this hotel. We called from the road on our way to FL and made a reservation. They were quite busy and only had one pet-friendly room available. We reserved it and promptly called back within 10 minutes to cancel. They charged our Visa anyway. I’ve tried 3 times over the course of 3 weeks to talk to the GM to have the charge removed from my Visa and he never calls me back. Each time I call, I’m told he’ll be in in an hour or so. I get the feeling his staff are keeping me from talking to him. You better stay here if you make a reservation. I’ve never had a problem canceling a hotel reservation in my life.

Stayed there one night because they had a separate room in the suite and an indoor pool. Clean place, nice pool, were the only good things about it. There were about 12 teenagers running up and down stairs and in lobby til at least 12am. Very loud. Front desk did nothing about it. King bed was extremely uncomfortable, and found bug in room while packing. Would not recommend anyone staying here for the $ 111.00 we paid

Apparently clean and recently renovated. The beds were reasonably comfortable. Although there was little«wow» factor, it was good for a one night’s stay on the family’s way down to Orlando. The only weaknesses I saw: The loud bathroom fan was not effective at reducing the steam, and the caulking looked messy.

Cheaper than Hampton inn, and it was not bad for the price. I would go again without a doubt.

So when I travel and I just need a room for the night I like to stay at a few mid-priced chains. Country Inn is one of them. They offer convenient locations, good sized and quiet rooms and a hot breakfast. We ended up in Savannah and popped into the Country Inn just off I95. I found good recommendations on line and decided this would be perfect. The desk staff was very friendly and I was handed my gold elite frequent stayer goody bag when I checked in along with directions and recommendations on downtown sights and restaurants. The place looks nice on the outside and in the lobby and breakfast room. The guest rooms are a bit tired and not up to the cleanliness standards I rely on. I say that because as I pulled the desk chair out to use the Mac I noticed a nasty white, dried, crusty substance on the seat. Now I won’t speculate what this substance might be but I bet it would glow under a DNA light. Nuf said!
