Maria is an amazing tailor. Not only is she skillful, but she has an artist’s sensibility. My husband and I have had many occasions to use her services. He lost a great deal of weight and needed alterations on pants and suits. I had an old but high quality silk suit that needed to be updated — can’t wait to wear my «new silk suit.» Not only does she do great work, but she is a pleasure to deal with.

I love this place! Ever look for a tailor right after a horrible experience at a dry cleaner??? Maria made me feel very relived, she was very professional. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful blazer in the window, that quite honestly just showcases the skill they have at the shop. My dress was backless, with sequins, needing buttons & loops moved and back taken in…$ 40 omg in the city I would have paid double that… it fit me perfectly. I plan to bring all my gowns to her.

Updated to say that the hem of the pants that Maria lengthened for me came undone in the middle of my interview yesterday. I had only worn them twice since she altered them. I was disappointed because the previous work she had done for me was good, and the tailoring of the suit jacket was quite good.
