Sammy’s is just as good as wykagyl bagels. The sammy stick bagel is their top shelf bagel. Like a top shelf tequila, but with carbs instead of alcohol, and 1⁄10th of the price. I have been eating at sammys since I was a boy.
The only criticism I can make is that the fish is not as good as Wykagyl bagels. But that doesn’t mean its bad. Its like comparing a lexus to a bmw. Both are great, you might have a preference.
Sammy’s appears cleaner than wykagyl, so if that is important to you, then when choosing between the two pick sammy’s.

Without a doubt the greatest bagel on the face of the earth. And I’m Jewish! Bagels and lox are my ancestors’ creed. These guys bring that ish back to the old country.
I walk in, and and everything with the works (everything bagel, low fat scallion CC, lox, tomato, red onion) is my single favorite culinary delight. Nothing comes close.
Everything is always fresh and on point, the bagels are to die for, they give the perfect portions for the toppings and spreads etc.
Ask for the mini-​bagels. Grab Em by the dozen, they are soooo fine. And come in a few flavors!!!
Also, Sammy sticks. Nuff said.
I have only an eternal undying passion for this hidden gem on weaver.

Hands down the best bagels in all of Westchester. Love the multi-​grain, the everything, and even the plain ones… they are that good. Try a Sammy stick too.

This place needs a health inspection badly. Dirty atmosphere/​overpriced/​and terrible tasting bagels. Better off going to dunkin donuts nearby.
