I took the intermediate and advanced excel classes. I was happy with the coursework, the teacher, the workstation and the information I learned. I know that my abilities have increased after the class.
My only contention is that many/​most people in the class had overestimated their abilities on excel. This is especially true for the advanced class. I was finished with an entire worksheet while I was waiting for most of the rest of the class to finish the first problem. Essentially, the teacher had no choice but to slow down to the pace of the slowest student while I was chomping at the bit to continue. That’s certainly not a knock on the teacher or the education. However, a prerequisite aptitude evaluation would be something to consider.
