ATA Scotch Plains provides high quality martial arts instruction with experienced and positive instructors. My son is a transfer student from out of state and was made to feel welcome and included by both the instructors and other students at the school. Highly recommend!

My daughter goes to SP, she loves it. She has learned all sorts of kicks, blocks, combinations, weapons use and sparring. Both instructors, 2– Mr. Flores’ are great with the kids. Ms. Hook is great also. They keep it fun, the kids don’t realize how hard they are working. They treat the children with respect. They teach them about morals, ethics, respect, discipline, bullying, and strangers. The price is great b/​c your child can go up to 4 classes per week for 1 monthly fee, (the schedule varies from day to day). You can compete in Regional competitions but you don’t have to. I highly recommend this school.

This place is the right fit for my son. The teachers are amazing too. The classes are very structured and organized so it has allowed my son to learn how to follow a class, take turns and be patient waiting. The kids are focused on their kicks and punches and various moves. Essentially, everyone is listening and takes their class seriously yet still has a fun time.
