Dancer’s Pointe

Looking for a dance studio I highly recommend this one!!!. Scotch plains location is one of the many this franchise has to offer but this location the best one for my daughter. The staff is so friendly and professional. Each child is treated with individual attention and I couldn’t be happier with this DP I would defiantly say it’s a wonderful experience look no further

I cannot tell you how disappointed my family is with Dancers Pointe in Scotch Plains. My daughter loves to dance and has had an inexcusably poor experience. This year has been nothing but the school stealing our money and brushing off complaints. To shorten the review of the 9 month class I will only hit on how they replaced the classes teacher roughly two months before the recital. During this time children were allowed to come and go as they pleased and limited instruction was given. The final two months have been a series of substitutes filling in with little to no instruction. Today was the straw that broke the camel’s back. After my daughter’s new teacher had a wedding one week before the recital we were left with yet another substitute. The teacher did not leave the music and the substitute tried to play music to 16 four year olds on her phone. Multiple parents went to the front desk to complain. My wife included, they were being ignored. In fact, one gentlemen went up to discuss the matter with the person at the front desk and was told that he was the first one to bring up any issue, although we were well aware throughout the entire class parents were going up to the desk. We are still being charged $ 20 a ticket to watch our children perform although very limited instruction was given throughout the year (we didn’t even know the song the kids were doing until recently. When we asked our daughter to perform the dance she sang for a bit and jumped up and down. I know my daughter and this was not just her fooling around. If she had a proper dance she would have practiced it in front of us.) I strongly discourage you from trying this dance studio. The instruction and the inappropriateness of their actions have and will always be inexcusable.
