Scary good smoked Brisket and that nice backyard taste with the various sides they offer. The service was great, about a 10 minute wait which is fine… afterall to the people complaining on here, if you want fast BBQ, go to McDonald’s and get a fake McRib sandwich. You want your barbeque to be served slow off the grill and not siding under a heat lamp. Wish you guys would’ve stayed in Mascoutah but good job Triple R’s, loved it!

I had the ribblets and they were really good. I wasn’t so much a fan of the Slaw or Potato salad. will try other sides next time I visit. You get a lot of food for $ 9.00(I have left overs for tomorrow!). I didn’t have a long wait like other posters have commented about… I will return.

Coleslaw tasted like dish soap, and it took 40 minutes for me to get my food. Normally that would not bother me, but it was not lunch rush and there were 0 other people there.

I heard about Triple R’s through a great friend. I went during lunch hours so i expected to wait a bit for my food. I read the other reviews saying they waited so long for their food. If you want fast food, then go to a fast food joint. I had the brisket and got some pulled pork to go. It was amazing. Both meats were to die for. Melt in your mouth tender. The mac n cheese is the best I’ve had as well. I will definitely be back. Thank you Triple R’s!

I just ate for the second time at this Establishment, and I ordered the sweet legs with fries. It was the best smoked chicken I have ever tasted, and I’m a chef at the Four Seasons! I highly recommend going there. I live in St Louis and will be making the drive quite often! Great fresh food that’s cooked to order, at great prices! Really great experience! 5 diamond quality!

Me and wife went there at 11 and waited almost 40 min, previous orders were messed up and took way too long I had to take my chicken wings to work because I only get a 1 hour lunch break and didn’t have time to eat there, we were very dissatisfied and will go elsewhere for our lunch and atleast get to eat our food while we sit

I was excited to learn of this new BBQ place right outside base. I tried it today for lunch and was terribly disappointed. I waited 35 mins for my to-​go order which was a simple pulled pork sandwich with fries. It was warm at best and the quality of food was only ok. The small place was filled with folks waiting for their orders. The girl taking the orders was nice but not efficient at taking orders & getting meals out in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, she was the only one working the front. Not a good idea during lunch rush hour. I don’t plan on returning.

We went in for lunch on a Tuesday, there was a few people in the restaurant waiting on their order. My group (4) waited 35 minutes for the first plate to come out and each persons meal came out 5 – 7 minutes apart after that. My sandwich had been heated in the microwave since one bite would be warm the next cold throughout the entire sandwich. Meat was dry probably from reheating it. Only reason I ate the food is because I paid for it.
PRO: Mac-​n-​cheese was good!

Came in for a quick lunch and I was one of the first people in for the day, I seriously waited 40 min for a chopped brisket sandwich. And the sandwich wasn’t good it was terribly dry and you can tell that it had been microwaved, you would get a hot bite then a cold the next not returning. Best thing about this place is how close it is to the base.

According to the local newspaper, Triple RRR has recently moved here from the other side of base. I had the brisket plate with beans and coleslaw, the wife had a pulled pork sandwich and fries. The brisket was very good, great smoke flavor, tender. The beans were good, but to sweet for me to get again. The coleslaw was creamy and I enjoyed it. The reduction in stars is based on the wait between order and food served. This location is just outside the base gate, so if you are here, its because you are looking for a quick lunch. Our 2 plates took 21 mins. Completely unacceptable, especially when there were only 4 other people in there. I wish them success, but if they can’t fix that time piece, the building will be looking for another new occupant.
