Bought a pair of VanEli shoes and was given a discount at the checkout counter. When I wore them for about an hour on carpet in my home, they were very painful and the right shoe caused reddened excoriation on side and top of foot. Since I have type l diabetes, wearing these shoes would be a serious medical risk. I looked at the receipt for return policy and found that the store does not accept returns of sale merchandise. I had not been informed of this before the transaction was completed!
Because of the medical risk and the fact that I had not been informed prior to the sale that the purchase was FINAL, I asked if an exception could be made and the answer was «absolutely not!» She insisted that I should have known that the sale was final, and simply would not listen when I tried to tell her that the salesgirl had not informed me before ringing up the sale. She offered a store credit and I had to try to find a pair that fit and that I could be reasonably sure would be wearable. It came down to two options… either keep the first pair (which I already knew were not wearable), OR spend more money to get a better fitting, more wearable pair. I felt like I was being blackmailed and definitely taken advantaged of.
. This was, without a doubt, the worst and most stressful shopping experience I have ever experienced (and I am 80 years old). Also, I find that the quality of VanEli shoes has deteriorated over the years. BEWARE !

A pair of shoes can lift your spirits and the wrong sized ones can inflict pain that lasts for longer than an evening out. The sales people at Marmi do an amazing job of finding the perfect size, width and style shoe to meet my needs every time. As a woman who has super narrow and long feet, I have spent hundreds of wasted dollars on high end shoes to meet my fashion whimsy but I have ended up with back aches and sore feet. I’ve walked away from other stores disappointed with their lack of selection and availability of cute and well-​fitting shoes.
I’m of the mind set that I’d rather spend more money on one high quality pair of shoes that will last for years than buy many low quality shoes that hurt and might last a year, and this store has helped me build an awesome shoe collection, comprised of beautiful Italian made shoes, that takes me from casual playdates and outings to the zoo, to dinner dates out with my husband. The service here is exceptional and I’ve been a loyal customer of Marmi for years, having shopped and even ordered from their Atlanta and NYC stores in the past. I
highly recommend this store and its Scottsdale location to anyone who has difficulty finding shoes that fit her and who enjoys the lost art of customer service. I have found this to be the best shoe store in the greater Phoenix area and one that I will visit time and time again.

Had a really bad customer service experience there. Salesperson offered me 10% off and the ability to return handbag within 10 days if tags still on it. Just as I was ready to sign the charge the manager came over and said, «We can’t do that» and proceeded to ask the salesperson in front of me why she offered it. Embarrassing to the salesperson and the inability to return within 10 days was the deal breaker for me. Manager should have stood behind the promise and, instead, lost me completely as a customer and the respect of her really good salesperson.
