We had been looking high and low for someone trustworthy and with the right experience to clean and appraise our two, very large Tibetan and Indonesian rugs. We called a lot of people before we got to Moe’s company in Scottsdale, but we’re very glad we kept looking. Janet, who normally does the scheduling and explanation of services, was direct, polite and reassuring. We scheduled a home pick up. I met Moe at the house and he did a thorough check up on the rugs before he took them. He also explained the great time and care that is necessary to clean these types of hand made oriental rugs. I had no idea. Deep vacuuming, several shampoos, rinses, air drying, and more vacuuming. He and his assistant were both extremely polite and professional with the assessment and the quotes. Moe, who is a proud Iranian-American, is the«real deal» to be sure; one of those rare people you still meet who is truly dedicated to what he does and happy to share his«old world» knowledge of an ancient art. It took about two weeks to get both rugs done and dry, and I have to say, they are absolutely gorgeous again! Soft, super clean, and completely scentless. We have allergies to strong perfumes and were concerned that the rugs might come back with scent. They just smelled like wool and cotton. Perfect. After I approved the rugs, Moe and his assistant, at our request, wrapped the rugs very carefully in clean brown paper and sealed the ends, and placed them in the house where we are going to store them while we are redecorating the house. Moe also dropped off a professional appraisal for each rug, complete with nice folder. We feel the appraisals are fair. All in all, I feel we were lucky to discover Moe and his staff. Beautiful work, polite treatment, and real skill translate into a great experience. Would not hesitate to recommend Moe’s company to anyone who wants the job done right.

Wow so rude! I called to ask questions and a rude Persian guy(assuming it’s Moe) comments in the background«that’s her fault she can’t bring it». How do you expect to get customers? So rude! Don’t deal with this angry Persian guy.
