I will start by saying that Price-​Rite is one of the best kept money-​saving secrets in Scranton, PA. You can save a ton of money here on your groceries. They sell discounted name brand and their store brand products. They also have a great produce section, with a lot of reasonably prices specialty items. You should bring your own bags, or pick up some empty boxes on the shelves while you are shopping, because they charge for bags. They do this to cut down on costs so that they can pass the savings on to you. The only issue that I have with this store is that the service that you get can either be really good, or suck majorly. I had a run in with a rude assistant manager there a while back, and I emailed the corporate office about it, but got no response. I never see the boy there anymore when I shop there, so he must have either quit or been fired for a bad attitude, I imagine. Besides that, this is a great place to save some money and fill your refrigerator and cabinets.
