Never thought about Unilocaling a rest area, so hopefully my review will help someone. Normally when travelling, I prefer to stop at convenience stores or restaurants for bathrooms and food because I feel like they are safer. However, this rest area is an exception and I’ll stop here. It’s a nice rest area with clean indoor bathrooms and it feels very safe(or as safe as you can feel at a rest area). It is nicely decorated with fountains as well as plenty of land to walk around and stretch your legs. The vending machines have a lot of options including coffee. There’s also a little visitor’s/welcome center at this rest area, but I’ve never been inside. We’ve always travelled on holidays or when it was closed, or just didn’t walk in, so I can’t comment on that– but if you’re travelling and need information, it may help you out.

One of the nicest rest areas we’ve visited. Plenty of room to walk dogs, nicely landscaped, and lots of amenities including clean rest rooms, tourist information, picnics tables, vending machines, water fountains, and space for kids to burn off some energy. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Open 24⁄7 year round.
