Rialto Theater

How great is it to find a $ 1 movie theatre, right? Well, ordinarily, I’d be thrilled with the price. But here’s the catch: everybody in town with loud children comes with their children. We happened to go to this movie theatre to see Yogi Bear. But it was loaded with kids. Now, I realize that children’s movies are sometimes loud. But this wasn’t even close to normal. There is metal on the seats, and people clack, talk, and rustle their paper constantly. They play family friendly movies, so I would guess that it is often like this. If they play «R» rated movies, maybe it wouldn’t be so loud, but it seems like the adults made as much or more noise than the kids. Good price, but we ended up walking out after ten minutes. Maybe the sound system is the issue and the noise is normal? I don’t know. If you don’t mind noisy movies, this is an awesome deal. But, they only have one theatre, so they only play one movie at a time.
